Young Miss Portman wishes to teach her future children a lesson in Judaism, but is meanwhile unable to find a Jewish hubby

Can't stop making headlines: On Sunday Ynetnews reported that Natalie Portman is about to appear fully naked in her new feature film, and on Monday ContactMusic reports she is keen to teach her future children about her Jewish religion, even though she is still struggling to meet the right Jewish man.

The Israeli-born star immigrated to the United States when she was a 3-year-old toddler. But sadly for Portman, she discovered that her interest in the ancient religion wanes when she is not in the Holy Land.

The report quoted her as stating that "a priority for me is definitely that I'd like to raise my kids Jewish, but the ultimate thing is to have someone who is a good person and who is a partner... I get much more Jewish in Israel."

Portman added that her father is still very much in touch with his Jewish roots, and loves to make jokes at the expense of her gentile boyfriends.

"He always makes this stupid joke with my new boyfriend, who is not Jewish," she explained. "He says 'it's just a simple operation.'"

Exactly. For myself, the woman I'm looking for is a God-fearing woman of high moral character. That's what I really want in a woman. Natalie Portman sounds just like the kind of crazy females I saw when I was in college about 2 years ago. Cute? Yes. Fun? Sure. But bad, bad trouble. I avoided them like the plague and am glad I did.

In my single, non-religious youth, I'd have wanted to get to "know" her. Now I'm married with kids, and besides, who wants to be with someone who'd take off their clothes in front of the whole world?

And is this young lady confused! Imagine, she's thinking about appearing nude, yet she wants to be more Jewish. It is, more than anything else, sad - sad that she has no brains, sad that her father apparently exercises no influence over her other than to poke fun at her non-Jewish boyfriends/belly-bumping buddies, and sad that the state of Jewish education only a few short years ago in Eretz Yisroel was so pathetic that someone like her got turned out of the system.

Maybe she should play the role of the tinman in a 'Wizard of Oz' remake - then she can get a brain. As for the morals, I think that she needs lots of help there. I hope that she wakes up, but I'm not holding my breath. Sad, sad, sad.
