July 25, 2006 -- ESPN yesterday fired analyst Harold Reynolds from Baseball Tonight, sources told The Post. The reason was not immediately known.

"We are not going to comment," ESPN VP Josh Krulewitz said.

When asked how they are going to explain that Reynolds will never be on the air again, Krulewitz still declined comment.

Everything's fair game for the media... except when it involves themselves.

That is, of course, off limits.

There is nothing more boring or more pathetic than a sports guy who isn't funny trying to be.

To bad. He'll be picked up by some one else quickly. Unless he was sucking toes, then he will have to wait six months.

I enjoy his work.

He must have been fired for some gross abuse of political correctness. It must have been so bad that the bosses acted before it could become public.

PC violations are just about the ONLY thing a tv personality CAN be fired for today.

Darn, he was easily the best of ESPN's baseball crew.

True, but I really enjoy the Jon Miller/Joe Morgan team.

Wilbon, Jason Whitlock, John Saunders, and William Rhoden say that everything MUST be looked at in the perspective of race.

Any bets on how fast they play "The Race Card"?

Harold Reynolds one of the best I ever heard in my 68 years. But then ESPN is full of left-wing idiots so it is no surprise. Boycott ESPN.

Whitlock has a huge chip on his shoulder on race - to match his huge gut and butt. Rhoden can barely speak in complete sentences - how did he ever get a column in the NYT? Oh, never mind....

MIke Tirico? (sp)

From Canada. ESPN likes the Canadians.

THat's what I heard. He tested positive for Folger's and ESPN had to let him go.

Wilbon is nowhere near as bad as the other three on your list.

The only reason they would not comment is there must be legal ramifications....
