Are you talking about the anal/dweeb/psychotic/clueless/rooky "idiot" cop with a gun who arrested the passenger who did no harm and still pressed on with the charges instead of telling the SOBER driver to go straight home and follow him there and/or give dispatch a plate and make/model for insurance?

But then .. I could be wrong....

Driver's fault, completely. What was the drunk passenger supposed to do, let the car careen off the road?

I'm annoyed that idiots like this exist and clog up our courts at a high cost to the taxpayer.

Absolutely correct. We need to be able to exercise a lot more control over our law enforcement officers.

Maybe we should change their job description and require them to keep the peace instead of whatever it is they're doing.
