yeah the reason for this thread is that I received a call from the Phillipines from my uncle who is vacationing there with his wife. He was asking what was going on with the Tigers :)

I have no idea.....
The Tigers will be tested in the Post Season. They've passed for the regular season.
They have the right manager and a good mix of pitching defense and hitting.

In my best Jim Mora voice:
"Post Season?"
Tigers having a winning record is a successful season...

Red Sox just blew a 6-2 lead to fall to TB 7-6... walk-off homer in the 10th.

I was listening to the Red Sox - D Rays game over the internet. Sounds like the red soxs blew it. They're announcers said it was the worst lost of the season.
BTW Mike I think I got tixs to the Penn State game. Yippee!!!

Lucky you :)
I had tickets, but I ended up having to give them to my brother because my wife's sister is getting married that very same day and my wife told me that I was banned.
So, in deciding that I did NOT want to sleep on the couch for the next month, my brother will get to go.

They're announcers said it was the worst lost of the season. The Sox left 2 on in the top of the 10th when Manny popped up to end the inning.

My calculations, the trend suggests that the for ALCS it will be NY Yankees (103-59) @ Detriot Tigers (109-53) and for NLCS the LA Dodgers (89-73) @ NY Mets (95-67).
