I think this case just gets creepier and creepier. The governor of Colorado, Roy Romer squashed a state police investigation, became the DNC chairman, then resigned and went on to be the superintendent of Los Angeles county schools. There might very well be more to this than just a simple pervert murderer and this freaky looking dupe is the cover up...

I would throw this guy away for a hundred years for aggrevated creepiness alone!

I think he has AIDS and does not want to die in a Thai prison, so he confesses to something to get out of there...

He would not have "died in a Thai prison" because he was only picked up after the US issued a warrant for him, and I think the warrant was about a child porn case in CALIFORNIA. The only reason, in fact, that he was arrested in Thailand at all was because they revoked his visa, declaring him an "undesirable person." The guy confessed on his own, no prompting.
