Saddam's cartoon torture
By SARA NATHAM TV Editor TOPPLED dictator Saddam Hussein is being tormented in jail by being forced to watch HIMSELF in South Park.
The evil tyrant is portrayed in the movie version of the cult cartoon as the Devils gay lover.
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut was banned in Iraq on its launch in 1999 for showing Saddam as a homosexual.
The film featured him trying to take over the world with Satan.
He is currently behind bars in Iraq as he stands trial on charges of genocide.
South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone yesterday revealed Saddam is made to watch the movie repeatedly by the US Marines guarding him.
Speaking at Edinburgh TV Festival, Matt said: I have it on pretty good information from the Marines on detail in Iraq that they showed him the movie.
Thats really adding insult to injury. I bet that made him really happy.
The American animators also confirmed that Tom Cruise threatened to pull out of all publicity for Mission Impossible III unless Paramount, which also makes South Park, axed a repeat showing of an episode lampooning him.
It showed a Scientologist character called Tom Cruise struggling to come out as gay. Cruise was dumped by Paramount last week.
Mega South Park Ping
Why do people here hate South Park???
I don't hate South Park at all. Perhaps they should force Saddam to watch The View.
It's just that they hate liberals much more than they hate conservatives.
Where are ya, ES?
All people don't :~)
I honestly can't think of a better psy-ops way of breaking someone than this.
Watch it be decried as inhumane or some other namby pamby liberal whinefest. I expect Human Rights Watch or Amnesty International to come to Saddam's defense any minute now.
The DemocRATS and their NY Slimes aren't going to like this. This is "torture." Red Ted Kennedy will probably go on a two week drunk when he learns of this.
SOUTH PARK PING!

They should throw in a little KING OF THE HILL.
Too bad Matt and Trey never released an unrated and extended version of BLU.
They could have shown Saddam a picture of himself with panties on his head.
Can't wait to hear the lecture from Kennedy, Kerry & Dubin on this one
BTW, the Emmy's just spoofed Tom Cruise in the closet during the opening sequence, and the crowd loved it.
Conan found himself trapped in various shows (Lost, 24, House, The Office), and he runs into Stan's room and into the closet. Then he jumps out "Someone else is in there!!!" And TC pops his head out of the closet.
Rumblings that something big and not good is gonna happen to $cientology in the next week or so...
I loved the Saddam Satan love scenes....very hot.
Nah, once Dirty Harry Reid and friends hear of this they will demand equal time and show Saddam a show he would enjoy and support such as...Bill Maher.
That's what my hubby said,
Best thing I've heard in a long time!
Bill Maher. Now that's torture.
Looking forward to watching that... The Emmys start here in a little bit. Do we see Matt or Trey on the red carpet? How much attention should I pay to this?
Respect my authority, beotch!
What is South Park? Is that in Illinois?
Ahh the Emmys. My mother just called and said "Flight 93" is getting crapped on. Any surprise?
Yeah, but we can hope that it's true.
Yeah I was wondering that too. Noticed the line and checked the source.
Whenever you have a cross section of people some are going to like it, some are go hate it. Me? I love SP, I think it is one of the most creative shows going and they poke fun at everyone!
My favorite is stil the one about NAMBLA, you know the North American Marlon Brando Look-a-likes.

FreeRepublic is a big tent that encompasses a larger politcal spectrum than Dems would like to admit.
South Park's creators are Libertarians. Other Libertarians seem to love them, at the other end of the spectrum are Fundamentalist Christians who are justifiably offended by South Park.
There's a lot of in between.
Here's a picture of me in South Park, Colorado.
"It showed a Scientologist character called Tom Cruise struggling to come out as gay"
That's not what happens. Geez. Tom is in the closet and they're trying to get him out. This reporter substituted the innuendo for the actual plot.
They were nominated, if that's being crapped on.
I didn't see any of those who were nominated, so I'm really no judge.
Yeah - what's up with all the very small images. They make the thread load slow for no reason.
Yeah, Begin, what's the point with the 1-pixel resized images in all your posts?
Thank goodness for Firefox and Adblock, so I can filter out that kind of crap.
LOL, poor Saddam.
I once read an interview with the sysadmin for the movie. Apparently some really bad stuff got cut that may find its way into a DVD extra, but there's no way they'd ever release some of the other stuff they did.
