DURHAM -- Kim Roberts, a dancer who performed at a Duke lacrosse party that ended with rape charges, admitted five probation violations today and will serve up to two months under house arrest.. .
Roberts was convicted in 2001 of embezzling $25,000 from a Durham photo finishing company where she worked in the payroll department. . .
The probation violations that Roberts admitted to in court were:
-- She was behind on restitution payments.
-- She missed two appointments with a probation officer.
-- She left the state without permission.
-- She quit her job without notifying probation officers.
-- She moved without informing probation officers of her new address.
(i.e., no jail time, no fine, just stay at home--possibly unmonitored--for the state's principal witness in the lacrosse case)
Peachy! No jail time?
So she gets "house arrest". Does that mean she can "entertain" men in her own home now? That should cut down on the overhead costs...Of course, she has already bragged about all her "tax free" income.
"We're getting a strange signal from her ankle bracelet Chief. It's almost as if she was spinning around a pole."
She's a real credible person!
Let's not mention that she pulled the white guys raped me routine BEFORE. You HAVE to look at teh character of the person ... .
Sounds like the D.A. will have a more compliant witness to HIS version of events....
This case is stinking so bad - the only hope for the Prosecution is to keep it out of courts until everyone dies.
Let's not mention that she pulled the white guys raped me routine BEFORE.
Well look at the white teacher who got away with molesting that middle school boy with just probation who went on to do it again so I would rather let her off like so many who steal in gov.,corporations and jobs than someone who destroying our children for thier sick perverted fantsies.
So the difference? Where were the people like me who is outraged at this behavior when this woman was let go?
And I got to mention that at least she try to pay it back and she should'nt have gotten house arrest. A white person might not have gotten that much especially if that person had money or middle class. I remember this white rich doctor who got away with murder than he left the country while on probation and went to see and threaten someone who was a witness in his case and did'nt do jack about it!. How about that!
Dont answer if you ca'nt make sense
