Has the Monday Night Football commentary been taken over with bad Air American wannabes?
At least they should re-hire Rush Limbaugh and Dennis Miller if they wanna do political commentary.
The standard was set when Ronald Reagan and John Lennon were in the same press box together, and were able to unite in the love of sports. Tonight's performance is falling far short of that.

I've noticed the overboard nature of the commentary. In fact, I've lost interest in the game because it's way over hyped.

The commentators really baited Spike Lee to bash Bush.
The commentators are all hooked into the whole NOLA story, to the exclusion of good football commentary.
Who do they have on?
I was afraid this was going to happen.
I have to say what was up with that ESPN guy. I mean he was just trying to get Spike LEE to say something negative. It was so apparent. I am glad Spike Lee was restrained as he was.
Besides that I have though the coverage has been excelllent

NO joke~ Spike Lee should have NOT been in the press box knowing how much he HATES President Bush and blames all of this on FEMA and W! He was given ample time to spew his BS and was egged on by that baldy guy to say something PC was ENOUGH to make my stomach turn and walk away from the tube!!
Why is it the people who bitch the most about New Orleans don't even live there. Spike Lee is from Brooklyn, and Kanye West is from Chicago.

I had to turn the game off. Tony Kornheiser droning on and on, trying to egg out an anti-Bush comment. They spent more time jawflapping on Katrina than they spent recognizing the fifth anniversary of 9/11.
And then there was the Suzi interview with Archie Manning. Yeah, he went ahead and said the right stuff, but espn definitely made a programming note to turn MNF into a Why-Hasn't-Bush-Fixed-New-Orleans telethon.
And then Spike in the booth. I mean, what more do I need to say but "Spike in the booth?"
This is just gross. I hope lots of people email them to STHU and play football.
If I wanted to hear this cute crap, I'd just get it over with and go to a Dixie Chicks concert.
Yeah, I finally turned the game off totally in disgust. Came down to the computer and emailed espn, then found this thread.
