Skip to comments.VANITY- What is wrong with Robert Kennedy? On Cavuto right now
Posted on 10/02/2006 1:29:14 PM PDT by georgiagirl_pam
Have I missed something? Robert F. Kennedy is on Cavuto right now and he is STRUGGLING to speak. I have missed any talk of what is wrong with his voice. Does anyone know of his medical condition?
a kennedy? stoned.
Whatever he has, hopefully it is not the "Kennedy Curse."
I'm not watching but I know what you mean because I've seen him before...weird. His grandmother Rose spoke the exact same way. I wonder if it's just extreme form of a Boston accent?
Apologies in advance if he has some kind of physical illness.
I'm listening to it also. I was wondering the same thing. He could have a cold but it sounds more serious then that...
He's a Kennedy....just got a big buzz goin'
He was addicted to heroin.
At first I thought he had MS or something worse.
It's hormonal. He just mentioned "I'd just had my fifth child." /kidding off
He's always had this manner of speaking, but it seems MUCH worse. I hope it is nothing serious. It almost reminds me of Katherine Hepburn near the end of her acting career (On Golden Pond). I have heard him speak many times, and never thought it medical condition. Today I did.
Found this -- Robert F, Kennedy suffers from a vocal disorder known as spasmodic dysphonia. 15,5500 people in this country are afflicted with the condition.
The voice disorder gives a strained, broken or sometimes breathy tone to people who have the condition, who include Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and National Public Radio's Diane Rehm.
No. The problem is that he is SOBER.
WAS addicted to heroin?
Great searching, thanks so much. I knew it had to be some kind of medical condition, just didn't know what. It is kind of a struggle though, trying HARD not to say something tacky about him!
No wonder he looks confused and is obviously straining to speak. Notice how they keep cutting back to Neil when it gets too bad.
If he loosens that tie any more it'll land at Cavuto's feet.
Probably one of the most painful interviews I ever saw.
Being dead for forty years will do that to you.
>>a kennedy? stoned.<<
Now that's unfair. You can't say that.
Being a Kennedy, he's probably drunk out of his gourd. :-)
And,for the record,Robert Jr has a history of drug abuse (as do most Kennedys).
The shame of being related to Ted is too mauch for his mind to take.
Excess heroin injections.
the bigger story is that Kennedy said on Cavuto's show today that he is against voters having to show a picture ID to vote....
also, Cavuto said he was going to interview George Soros later in the week...
and tonight, Greta will be interviewing that female teacher down in Florida that molested her student...
I have no idea why Fox keeps pandering to these leftists and tabloid'ey child molester stories... they had Huffington, Boxer, and Clinton on last week also...
True but he is alledged (by a woman who claims to have drugged with him) to have smoked pot and taken LSD WHILE he was president.
Additionally he took prescribed painkillers.
I,personally,am very suspicious of such claims for several reasons...not least of which is the fact that we're talking the early 60's.The same charges leveled against Clinton I could believe easily. But not JFK.
Additionally he took prescribed painkillers.
I'm not surprised. He suffered a very bad back injury (during his Navy service,I believe) that couldn't be fixed by surgery.
Who watches Fox News?
What is their core audience?
You get these leftist wingnuts on there and that audience will become motivated to VOTE AGAINST THEM.
It's not pandering.
In October 1961, Mary began visiting John F. Kennedy in the White House. It was about this time she began an affair with the president. Mary told her friends, Ann and James Truitt, that she was keeping a diary about the relationship.
In 1962 Mary made contact with Timothy Leary, the director of research projects at Harvard University. Leary supplied LSD to Mary who used it with Kennedy. Leary also claimed that Mary helped influence Kennedy's views on nuclear disarmament and rapprochement with Cuba. It was later discovered that the FBI was keeping a file on Mary. Later, James Angleton, head of counterintelligence at the CIA admitted that the agency was bugging Mary's telephone and bedroom during this period.
Kennedy aide, Meyer Feldman, claimed in an interview with Nina Burleigh that the president might have discussed substantial issues with her: "I think he might have thought more of her than some of the other women and discussed things that were on his mind, not just social gossip."
On 12th October, 1964, Mary Pinchot Meyer was shot dead as she walked along the Chesapeake and Ohio towpath in Georgetown. Henry Wiggins, a car mechanic, was working on a vehicle on Canal Road, when he heard a woman shout out: "Someone help me, someone help me". He then heard two gunshots. Wiggins ran to the edge of the wall overlooking the tow path. He later told police he saw "a black man in a light jacket, dark slacks, and a dark cap standing over the body of a white woman."
>>He sounds like Katherine Hepburn.
I have noticed that in the past, too, like when he was a guest on Hannity's radio show. Don't know if it's a physical
illness either, but get him to say, "Oh, Hoke, you're my best friend" (Driving Miss Daisy)... :)
No, plane crashes.
He has a physical problem...... and it's getting much worse.
Is this RFK's son?
One really weird number!
Mostly everyone ought to be ashamed!
See post # 13 for some information.
His voice coach is Joe Lieberman. It’s obvious.
No. He’s a Kennedy bastard, and deserves every drop of ridicule he receives. We paid for that. And he drove his ex to suicide to boot.
Worth mentioning: Mary’s former husband, Cord Meyer, was with the CIA. Mary’s sister was married into the Washington Post family. All very wired.
Years later, when asked who killed Mary, Cord said it was the same people who had killed JFK.
