BTW, did you catch Lucy Lawless was a special guest star?Yes she was featured as a Cylon on Caprica in a couple of shows lasr season. She's a better actress than I had thought in Xena,

Is the Colonel suppose to be Zarqawi now? Instead of one leg, he has one eye.

These are the first episodes I've seen since the original in the 70's. Very well done.
However, the theme definitely reminds one of the situation in Iraq, with the show supporting the equivalent of the Iraqi insurgents, complete with their strap-on bombs blowing up the local police academy.
I think Edward James Olmos is a great actor, but I also know he is quite the liberal. Unfortunately, I'm thinking this show is an apologist for underground Iraqi tactics versus the American troops.
That bothers me.
