Link Only (as usual): Hovind trial resumes Monday
Fireworks resume on Monday.
Rom 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
Matthew 22:21 - They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
Just for the record, I copied that from a post by someone on your ping list.
And I would agree with that. But uh, isn't it dangerous to be using the Bible? Do the frevo homeboys approve of that sort of thing?
It's true. I have differences with the Bible in several areas: the acceptance of slavery, obedience to kings and rulers, things along those lines.
I'd argue with you chum, but what would be the point?
Guess there are still a few stragglers.
I'm looking forward to the opuses.
Not yet. There are many whose passing (from the FR scene) I would not lament. But those who can be respectful and polite about it I'd welcome to stay. We can have a discussion of ideals without slaughtering each other.
And if they all go, we'll all get lazy in our debating skills.
