Two blonde gals. I think ones name is Karen Marsh...worked on the Kerry campaign. The other was that platinum short haired blonde with the snarkly grin. I couldn't believe my eyes or my ears. Anyone see this?
O'Reilly, you are going to lose my viewership. Stand up!!
Saw it. O'Reilly said he can't possibly believe Kerry meant to demean our troops in Iraq (and elsewhere). But he did question his "choice of words."
O'Really is not a conservative.
Once again Billy O' proves that he can't even look out for himself. Yo Bill, this is the same guy who called Americans murderers 35 years ago and terrorists last year. Wake up!
Anybody seen any on television tonight?
He totally wimped out with the two Dim flacks.
Right now, he's rambling and not making much sense with his interview of Santorum.
Total Bloviation and hot gas!
Yeah, but Laura Schwarz looked like she'd been up all night, and Mary Anne Marsh looked like there was a live briquette in her seat and she had to talk around the pain until the segment was over.
They talked about what a great explanation Kerry gave today, but never brought up the fact that Kerry IGNORED all the offense his "botched joke" gave to soldiers and their families, as if they didn't matter.
These two girls have had a long day, and it showed.
I had a bet with my husband that Bill would stand up for Kerry. I won.
Two Dem strategists to discuss Kerry sure does not make Fox Fair and Balanced. One time I watch O'Reilly in months and he pulls this stunt. Back to quit watching him again!
He does that more often than not.
Oh yeah, and O'Reilly also expressed extreme surprise about recent findings (during this election season) that the MSM covers Republican candidates in a positive light only 12% of the time, where Dems get positive coverage a whopping 75% of the time.
I sent O'Reilly an e-mail asking him if he thought Kerry meant to demean our troops in 1971 when he accused them of chopping off Vietnamese heads, limbs and genitals. But he'll probably find my remarks too popinjayish.
Saw it - The Bloviator on this topic sounded about as bright as Kerry himself.
O'Reilly just couldn't admit that the swift vets were correct.
That's it! I'll never watch that 'rat in conservative disguise again.
Off with your bloated head, O'Reilly!
It just proves what a great country America truly is when Jhengis Johnny and Bill O'Bloviator can make it to the top of their professions! :-}
I've had my fill of lib military bashers. TV off for a couple days to save my blood pressure.
ROTFL!! Good one!
Yes and made a post in regards to the factor on news/act.
I usually watch the factor every night. When I saw both ladies were libs I knew it wouldn't be good so I changed the channel.
I don't know what transpired after that. I do know O'Rilly was defending Kerry's remarks regarding the education of our military.
Kind of shocked me O'Rilly did this so close to the election.
I know he want miss me but I want be going back any more.
I did this with Imus three yrs ago and, I haven't watched another one of his broadcast.
I hope everyone on FR will consider dropping O'Rilly.
You go Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ya gotta remember F'n is gun shy, ever since he was "wounded" those 3 times, and all they gave him were bandaids!
Cerially this garners/splits the truthers from the main herd. Any red blooded American citizen Rep or Dem, with even a sliver of patriotism WAS OFFENDED by JoKes latest smear against our military. A smear against our militar WHILE ACTIVELY AT WAR!
But He's Got A Plan
Kerry has a 30 year history of contempt for the military, Bill O, maybe you choose to ignore that context but we don't.
You might have it there.
Wow! You can still watch TV? Your blood pressure is doing better than you admit!
Except for breaking stories, I can't watch news broadcasts without wanting to waterboard the MSM.
Well, they are the ENEMEDIA! So it's a no brainer, send Wolfie to Dunkin Dognuts Post Haste!
It must be the altitude of fame. It makes 'em stupid.
O'Reilly came out swinging against the Swift Boat Vets and defended Dan Rather.
Why people waste their time with this bozo is beyond me.
Is anyone listening to "Mary Ann Marsh" Demo strategist on O'Reilly? She just basically reinforced what Kerry said and then said every bad bay in Iraq between now and the election is a good day for Dems!
BOR is not so bright.
Bah. OReilly is a rabble-rousing tabloid-level whore-on-the-make who will sell out any time he thinks he can make some headway into the beltway power structure, including the 'rats, most decidedly. Wait and see what he does to "get" Hillary.
At the end of that segment he promised to investigate the movie studios (Lions Gate Films).
You go on and do that Bill. What would the folksTM do without you looking out for them, keeping us all safe from Jigsaw.
She just used the "D" word.
She just used the "D" word.
Hmpphh... FR is buggy tonight.
Yes, when he said that and presented two liberal bimbos I tuned out. If I want a spin zone I'd prefer an interesting one like CNN.
O'Reilly is 80% windbag and 20% bully (when it's safe to be one) and if his guest(s) manage to complete a sentence without being interrupted and overtalked it's amazing. But, he's patronizingly looking out for us "folks". After all, we unsophisticated simpletons need Bill to explain things to us.
I couldn't believe it either! Glad to see this posted. How could he say that he didn't think Kerry meant what he MEANT. An idiot could tell he was talking about our troops. Some are saying it's publicity to keep the ratings up. What do you think? Maybe he's once again trying to prove how fair he is, but this is more like he's hittin' the kool-aid!
I heard that Savage said the opposite is true. that the average education of military personel is HIGHER than that of the normal population
It's his ego making an issue out of this. It must be in his book, and he brought it up on Oprah, and didn't get the outrage he wanted. As sick as those movies may be, how could it make America look BAD in the eyes of the world as he claimed when it's the terrorists most enjoyable past-time! I think people are more concerned about reality than fantasy.
I just sent Bill a very un-pithy e-mail reminding him that our college campuses are highly anti-military and it's unfathomable that John Kerry doesn't know that. Lurch must have been shocked that his comments weren't met with boisterous applause.
No surprise there at all. O'Reilly sided with Kerry against the SwiftBoat Verterns.

To: Bill O'Reilly, Anchor
Fox News Network Show - ''The Factor''
Dear Mr. O'Reilly,
This evening we watched your show telecast on Thursday, August 26, and we were again dismayed over your comments against the Swift Boat Veterans. You have been continuously downgrading this group of war veterans since their message hit the airwaves. Your commentary shows us that you judge the content of their message as radical, suspect, and inappropriate during a presidential contest.
We completely disagree with your stand on this issue. The group represents over 200 distinguished veterans from the Vietnam War, many of whom were highly decorated for their service and bravery. They were all there in Vietnam serving right alongside John Kerry. The group has a very important message for the American people. They are presenting evidence, amid the roars and frantic attacks by the mainstream media and the Kerry brigade, that the alleged war hero John Kerry is not what he made himself out to be. There is also the very important issue of Kerry's anti-war activities and his disloyal sell-out of his brothers in arms.
It is extremely important that the Swift Boat Veterans have the opportunity to fully air their positions in all areas of the public forum and news media. The gist of the evidence they are bringing forth appears to reflect highly unfavorably upon the moral character of a potential president and commander-in-chief of the United States. Their story must and will be heard by the American people and then they will judge its authenticity.
If the Swift Boat Veterans are wrong in their assertions and facts, then their story will end up on the dung heap of lies. If they are telling the truth, then a very revealing story will unfold about the Massachusetts presidential nominee.
It seems to us that you have deserted independent thinking and frequently stand right in the middle of controversial topics regardless of the issue or what the two sides represent. It is as if you are trying to appease both sides and the viewing public simultaneously. In this neutral bubble you appear to have lost your resolve to stand up and defend what is right.
We heard your remarks a while back when Newt Gingrich stated that the Swift Boat Veterans' independent ads were ''the conservative movement's answer to Michael Moore.'' You assumed your lukewarm posture again by stating, ''I don't want either of them.''
Get off the fence, Mr. O'Reilly, and stand up for what is right. Please use your God-given intelligence, intuition, and talents to defend righteous principles. You are a self-admitted Christian, a Roman Catholic. If you believe in your faith and in God, then why aren't you speaking out periodically against abortions and homosexual marriages? For the most part, you avoid taking a side on these critical issues and that is morally wrong. Popularity is not a substitute for the satisfaction of displaying strong moral leadership.
Sincerely,
Jack and Chris Patterson
