"Please, Senator, tell us that funny joke about a college education, President Bush, our troops and Iraq."

"What do ya mean, funny? Let me understand this cause, I don't know maybe it's me, I'm a little effed up maybe, but I'm funny how? I mean, funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh... I'm here to effin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny? No, no, I don't know... you said it. How do I know? You said I'm funny. How the eff am I funny, what the eff is so funny about me? Tell me, tell me what's funny!"

Wish I could photo shop this. I posted it on a couple of threads, but I figure it's at least as funny as some of the other stuff I see in chat.

Kept it, kept it, threw it away, threw it away...kept it....

(stolen from a fellow freeper from a way past caption thread with this same photo)

Andthe real story behind that photo:

During the Wendy's stop, Mr. Kerry wandered over to a table of Marines, chatted with them, shook their hands and wished them luck. The Marines, who gave single-syllable answers while Mr. Kerry hovered over their table, later grumbled that Mr. Kerry had "imposed on us" by going over and "shaking our hands." "I'm 100 percent against" Mr. Kerry, one of the Marines told a reporter. "We support our commander in chief 100 percent."

Among the patrons at Wendy's who were not applauding were four Marines, whom Kerry eventually approached in the restaurant. According to an article in the New York Post, the Marines were not rude to the candidate, but they were "polite but curt" in answering his questions with a simple "yes, sir" or "no, sir." But after Kerry walked away, the Marines "turned nasty," according to the Post. "He imposed on us and I disagree with him coming over here shaking our hands," one Marine said, adding, "I'm 100 percent against [him]." A sergeant with 10 years of service under his belt said, "I speak for all of us. We think that we are doing the right thing in Iraq," before saying he is to be deployed there in a few weeks and is "eager" to go and serve.
