Faith Hill furious she didn't win
11/6/06

When commie country singer's name was not announced as Female Vocalist of the Year, she was backstage and screamed "What?" and stormed off out of camera range. Yeah, yeah, it was George Bush's fault.

Carrie Underwood thanked God. That probably didn't help with Mrs. McGraw's frustration.

As a longtime country fan, I've learned one thing. "Ya gotta dance with the one that brung ya!" She should have learned something from the fat Ditzy Chick. By the way, where were the Ditzys tonight? Didn't they just have a best-selling CD or something like that?

I watched it live, but didn't see Faith's reaction. I agree with the others. She is very pretty, but dumb as a stump and "eat up" with self importance. Her husband is a whiney, talentless tool, as well.
To: peggybac
I missed it!
So ABC had a camera on her as she said that and stomped off? Perfect, can't wait until it makes youtube.
To: peggybac
Faith better shape up soon or her label's going to take away her "Auto-Tune" software plug-in.

I saw that, but I wasn't 100% sure if she was serious. It'll be interesting to see if she spins it as a "joke"....
To: RoseofTexas
She and her hubby, Tim McGraw, spouted off about W awhile back. Tim thinks Clinton was the best president we ever had, or something like that.

What's with all these people flipping out over awards? (This is the second time in about a week) Awards used to be considered an honor, not something you believe you deserve and throw a childish temper tantrum if you don't win one. I was watching the show, but with the volume turned down, so I sort of missed this. I was only watching to see Sonny James go into the Hall of Fame - contrast the Southern Gentleman with the rest of that nonsense. Did anyone else see this? Can you believe that he is 80 years old? See what clean living and a good attitude can do.
To: peggybac
I haven't followed her at all. I take it she's another liberal entertainer?
To: msnimje
What is it with these dumb democrats? Elitism: belief in belonging to a select or favored group. Above the common folk.

They had cameras on all the nominees and Faith was backstage. When Carrie's name was announced, she yelled in the camera then stomped off. Priceless. I hope it gets around - now she is a caviar commie!

UGHHHHHHHHH...I had no idea! OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! Are they still popular in the CM industry? The Fatsy Chicks got caned by the country folk how come they are still in the high end of the music charts?
