So do I.
I had all ideas this would be a bloodbath, but was of course hoping it wasn't.
I stayed out in the rain for several hours yesterday helping a local GOP county commissioner candidate and the mood among our Repubs was as gloomy as the weather.
All is not lost, though. See my tagline.
This will be a painful lesson for the GOP, but one I pray is instructive.

This loss is especially hard on my parents because they volunteered alot of their time to Mark Green's and Tom Reynolds' campaigns.
This republic has persevered for over 225 years.
I am not such a hardened cynic that I think it won't continue to prosper.
I do however think the Democratic resurgence will cause things to get worse before they're better.
Sorry about your parents. I've been on the losing end of campaigns I've assisted on too. It's a hard pill to swallow.
