Man... per CNN, with 80% reporting, Talent is at 799,007 while McCaskill is at 813,003...
Here comes the KC/STL vote counts!
We are going to lose the Senate too.
Talent is toast. St.Louis and KC still left to count, heavy dem.
Bye Bye America, Hello United States of Islam!

There goes getting any new judges confirmed.
If he couldn't beat that haggard pelican, he deserves to go down.
Majority in St. Louis has reported... I think, that's why we have this numbers.
This was predicted on previous threads.
There goes Bolton.
Too bad so many Republicans bash L/libertarians at every turn. It would have saved the Republicans the MO Senate seat and the Senate overall.
Between ACORN and ead rolls not purged, I can't believe it.
This is 1994 in reverse. How did things get this bad? We're losing in Montana!?
We got wiped out tonight, all of Ginrichs work is wrecked.....Bush is going to age about 10 years over the next 2.

holy s***,my state . .my beautiful little state is now going to be dominated by communist democratic shills . .
crap. . . anyways,miss you guys. . and away I go
Maybe, but I plan to work my butt off for the next two years. Maybe the RNC will find focus again and offer another Contract with America and work to meet every point in it. Between now and 2008, we can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Earlier when I looked on Yahoo, he was ahead, I guess it was just the rural counties who had been counted.
It is very depressing.
Between ACORN and ead rolls not purged, I can't believe it.
Damn. My wife's home state has gone to the commies.
Good wake up call for Repubs in 2008, if we survive without Divine intervention on a massive scale.
The American people tire easy. We may have intelligent people, but they are not wise.
Hard to believe that they are still getting away with that scam! It is almost like the return of feudalism to see the multimmillionaires come to power on the backs of the inner cities they serve so badly. Sickening. I am going to have to find a new hobby. These creeps make me sick.
Its going to be years before we get control of either house, if there is one positive maybe the voters will be hesitant to give the Dems the Presidency while they control both houses of Congress...
the only option now is to Refuse to Seat the Democrats elected to the Senate and House.
Almost everything I voted for today lost. All the ballot initiatives, everything. Just trounced, really. It's quite depressing.
Welcome to NY
Nah. Check 'im out. He's going to be able to cuddle up to Mexico, big time. It's a reg'lar Fountain of Youth, this fragging that Rove's brought about.
I dont get it?
the question is - will the country survive 2 years of democrat rule?
Don't count Montana out just yet. There are still a lot of conservative counties that haven't been counted or only partially counted.
I loved Missouri .. I did . . then they voted in a widow .. and now they've kicked talent out as well. Lil California? I don't think I'm moving back there soon. Sticking in Oklahoma, wish Brad Henry would have been ousted. Pity this night.
By that time we will have court ordered gay marriage, guns will be gone and socialized medicine will be the thing. If those things happen then I hope the whole country falls apart. I really will not matter to me. I will work to bring it down.
A veto? Bush has never vetoed anything. Bush scares me. I think we are in for some very bad stuff.
Senatorial term limits,...anyone?? Anyone?
Glad I moved.
Notice that he only took St. Charles county by about 5%. He didn't do well enough where he had to to overcome the St. Louis city machine. Plus he's a moron for running the "getting things done" campaign (esp. when the Senate accomplished absolutely friggin zero).
Sorry for the rant. Almost.
People get the government they deserve.
WEll, fortunately, I live in South Carolina and all of the people I voted for and most of the ballot positions I took went my way, but I am very upset about the national picture, as well as the defeat of the abortion ban in SD.
I wish. Gotta go. Been a while, might peek in more often for support, this is all making me . .. .
Someone get me a mop . .
If the Senate is lost as well, I'd like to see Bush and Cheney resign. Then...it would be President Pelosi. A DISASTER. It would be terrible for the country, and maybe that's what this stupid electorate needs, is a quick remember of how awful the Democrats are. After two years of President Pelosi, House Speaker Charles Rangel, and Majority Leader Harry Reid, the Republicans would retake the legislative and executive branches with margins never seen before. 60 GOP Senators, 50 seat lead in the House.
But seriously, this is just disgusting. What is wrong with our countrymen, heck, this species as a whole. Humanity is a great disappointment.
This should not have been a shock if you had believed polls (without exception) showing this outcome for the past 2 months. But I guess some overly optimistic people here were not being realistic.
As to why it happened - corruption (House Repubs), war, relentless bad news (yes, the MSM matters), and poor execution of conservative bills (like immigration).
Meanwhile the marriage amendments are passing. Affirmative Action was killed by the people of Wisconsin. And the cloning/embryonic amendment seems to be losing in Missouri. All conservative positions. Hmm. Let me get this straight.
Conservative positions are winning. Democrats running as conservatives are winning. And a Party that promised conservatism and screwed us over is losing. Lesson? The GOP should have thrown McCain out on his ears, enforced discipline and got the job done as promised.
Instead they catered to McCain and the moderates, and in the end the moderates sit it out and the conservative Dem voters go with the conservative campaigns the Dems ran.
Don't let tonight diminish your faith in America. We have seen much darker days and always come out of it OK. We'll be fine. Keep the faith.
Semper Fi,
NYleatherneck
St. Louis hasn't come in yet. We are screwed there and seem to be in Montana and Va as well. I thought their was an off chance we'd lose the house. Never thought we'd drop the senate.
