When Will Newt and Rudy start announcing? (thats the kind of thing that I'm wondering)

Good question indeed, I wish I knew!

Well keep worshipping the dead president Reagan and dreaming of an America when he was in control because of your dreams of Reagan they will impeach this pres.

One, you should be so lucky as to see another Ronald Reagan. It's only because of his long march from "Death Valley Days" to the Presidency that you can enjoy the sight of George and Laura Bush, a functional, chaste married couple, in the Oval Office instead of that "family" of satyrs and moral scumbags idolized by the other party.

Two, nobody is going to impeach George W. Bush. The Deaniacs will try, but they won't get a majority. Nancy Pelosi, for tactical reasons, recruited conservative "Blue Dog" Democrats -- some of whom actually support the Second Amendment -- who won't support a bill of impeachment against Bush over Iraq or the WoT generally. No way. So keep your shirt on.

It is coming and whose fault is it no bodys but the people and conservative talk show hosts who always condemed the pres rather then rally the troops.

Wrong. They tried to call the President's attention to where his McKinleyite ("pigs-at-the-trough") agenda was getting the Party into trouble with the People. They tried to show where political types like Denny Hastert, by holding hands with people who weren't honest enough to be Republicans, were hurting the Party.

They should have fought for Tom DeLay (assuming they could -- I still don't know quite where the equities lie on that one), because the Ronnie Earle sideshow in Austin was a put-up job (and Ronnie Earle is a board-certified scumbag), and at the same time should have cut loose some of these people -- and even DeLay, if he was guilty as charged (absolutely still not demonstrated) who were running around having affairs and appropriating outrageously porky "bridges to nowhere" and blowing the People's money on political payoffs.

He should have listened on immigration, on Medicare, on Social Security. He didn't -- even the Democrats agree Bush and the GOP hurt themselves badly on immigration and gave the strong impression that they are only about dirt-cheap labor, low wages, and handcuffing law enforcement on the border at the behest of big ranchers, poultry-packers, and other rock-bottom-wage employers. Now the Democrats will have a chance to do a big "deal," their way, with the money boys represented in the Senate, and we're all screwed.

The Party and the President's people did it -- we didn't, we tried to tell them!

She never would have gotten this far if not for perot and those who voted for him.

How many ways can I say it, that 41 was the author of his own political demise? There'd have been no Ross Perot candidacy without Poppy's air of arrogant detachment and ennui with the details of below-the-salt living in America.

Old 41 acted like we weren't good enough for him. That's why Ross ran -- he was a boot-strapper, a very hard worker, and he couldn't stand the idea of the idle rich running everything like the French Second Estate, with a wave of a lace handkerchief and "let them eat cake". Ross did the right thing at the wrong time. Nobody had any idea how smart and how bad Slick was.

But had 41 been more of a worker-bee, like Bob Dole and Dick Nixon, you'd never have heard a peep out of Ross Perot. Bottom line, folks.

I think this election helps Rudy. With a number of conservatives(Allen, Santorum, Talent, Burns going down) and the Dems with Hillary and Obama seizing mometum, the GOP NEEDS a national candidate with star power and ability to pick off Reagan Dems and win a few blue states.

I just don't see a Romney/Frist/Gingrich etc... doing that.

Giuliani with a strong conservative as VP(Gingrich/Hunter whoever)could be a good ticket.

I could have told you from the get go that clinton was nothing but a slick willie. The stupid answer about the boxer shorts, the gennifer flowers denials till he got caught, the draft dodging lie, till he got caught, should have been red flags.
As for the first president Bush, I think he cared, but the media has a way of influencing perception and that's what they managed to do with the first president Bush.

Oh, I saw them, lots of people did -- what was it, 57% of the electorate voted for "somebody else"?

But nobody could foresee how really bad he was.......

By that, I mean that I'm one of a minority of people (admittedly) who are slitty-eyed enough with suspicion of Slick and his ways to believe even halfway, that the Paula Jones/Monica Lewinsky sex-scandal was really chum, suckerbait to pull Ken Starr off the track that would have led Clinton to a federal penitentiary for decades, if not to a firing squad: his sale of our national security to the Chinese. Hell, he could have been a Chinese asset going back to the 1970's. Heard from Charlie Trie recently? He disappeared into China when it all hit the fan -- and nobody's heard from him yet. No, he didn't go "back to Arkansas, to his restaurant he founded back when he was a Chinese refugee"........he just disappeared.

I've got fifty cents says, Bill Clinton was the real deal, a Manchurian candidate, beholden to the Chicoms and one of a variety of Communist assets (aka the "old Left") in this country, from the very beginning of his career. And I think Yah Lin "Charlie" Trie wasn't anything but Slick's PLA case officer. Now, how about that?

That's how bad!

It will be interesting if the GOP nominates Rudy and the Dems nominate Bayh.

The Democratic nominee would be more conservative than the GOP Nominee.
