Our double-D daughter found out early that most men assumed she was:
A. Stupid
B. Easy
C. Both
D. If he was really lucky, her daddy owned a liquor store.

She was none of the above and is now completing a PhD in Genetics.

You made a good point.

There does seem to be a certain degree of sexism in our culture, with a failure to believe that women can be extremely intelligent. Women have made important advances in science. An example:

Marie Curie

Furthermore, there are women working in much of the advanced research into computer science, engineering, occupational safety, physics, chemistry, and every other scientific discipline.

Recently, girls have been found to be more advanced, academically, than boys. It is evidenced by the increasing number of women in our colleges and universities.

So basically, the line I've heard all my life, that women are smarter, stronger, live longer, have a higher pain threshold, work better together, solve problems better, etc, is all true. Men are just a bother to be tolerated.
