An article he wrote praising the city's Catholic schools had particular impact. Giuliani soon after set up a program to send 1,000 pupils a year from the worst schools into Catholic schools. Several financiers on the Manhattan Institute's board helped fund the program. Many "Catholic" schools teach the liberal agenda as if it is Catholic dogma - Is this where it started or did it just add fuel to the fire?
By the way I've heard how behind the "BEST" New York public schools today - and I know from first hand reports good private education costs THOUSANDS of month.

I think the point is to make a far left winger look conservative.
Its not good, when he has to hire someone to HELP him be appealing to the right.
