Angelina Jolie: Newborn Daughter Shiloh Is a 'Blob'

PARIS —  Angelina Jolie's adopted kids tugged at her heart strings a little bit more than her biological daughter did -- at least when she was first born.

"I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they're survivors, they came through so much," Jolie says in the new issue of U.K. Elle.

A newborn really is this...Yes, a blob! But now she's starting to have a personality...

This woman is disturbed.

Is this for real? She's really saying this about her daughter? God, have mercy..on the poor, innocent baby. Jolie sounds like another "mommie dearest".

As far as we know, Madd and Zee had normal, sane people for parents. Unlike Shiloh.

"I have three kids now and next year I'll have six then nine,"

If ever there was an argument for a need to certify or license people before they become parents, these two are it. /s

My first reaction to her statement was - she doesn't even know her daughter? Is she so into herself that she can't get her daughter to communicate? Newborns are a blast! They just stare and stare and eat you up with their eyes, saying, finally I get to see your face. Then they mimic you, especially when you stick your tongue out. I guess her baby could be mimicking her. Is Angelina just a body?
I will NEVER forget looking into my son's eyes for the first time. He is wonderful, and after 14 years, still amazes me.

It's a Pitts' Birth thing.

I hope you cleared that pun in advance with the applicable Allegheny County bureaucracy.

Where did that picture come from???? Did The Lips have it commissioned? Remember, michael jackson had one of him above his bed--naked and surrounded with angels.

I couldn't get past the top half of the story. These people make me completely sick. She is unbelievably vile. Does it not occur to her that Shiloh may read this at some point? Although I am sure she will be quite aware of her standing in the family if Angelina is so open about it already.

Just when I thought I truly couldn't dislike them any more than I already did. I don't know why I am surprised.

Not to worry -- the "blob" appearance will fade over time as the effects of the maternal collagen overdose dissipates.

As far as any arrested personality development, consider the father....

I took the painting as having the same problem with society as you do. I don't think it is meant to be flattering of her, or how society treats her and others like her.

Don't know if you remember the painting at Micheal Jackson's house. It was here on FR when he was on trial. In it, he had somewhat of an ancient Greek robe on surrounded by male children. Now, that was creepy.

Just wondering. Why did the "artist" paint her hovering above a WalMart checkout line? And was there any significance to lane 31? Still, the thing is a sacrilege.

Mr. Jolie's comments are an excellent example of how disconnected superstar actors are from reality. I always get the sense that they say these things in order to sound (act) "normal"---and it shows. Similarly to when Tommy Cruise was jumping on the Oprah's couch in an effort to appear like a caring, normal, heterosexual man. They go to extremes to appear to be like the rest of us and they're so disconnected they go too far, imo.

Good grief.

A normal mother begins knowing and loving the child she carries long before it is born.

I have a couple of friends who had very difficult times conceiving a child and her comment really makes me mad.

It baffles me that a mother could say such a thing.

Jolie is a self-centered b*tch using the adoption of her two children as humanitarian PR crap.

She's also an attention whore of the worse kind.

I don't understand it, either.

One day her baby will know she said it, and that's the really sad part of this story.

I agree. No normal mother feels that way about her biological child. As for thinking her daughter Shiloh is so privileged, I wouldn't bet on it in the long run. I think Angelina might favor Maddox and her other child more than Shiloh. I hope Brad spends extra time showing Shiloh as much affection as possible.

""Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born. I have less inclination to feel for her"

Would Brad please wake up, divorce Angelina, and take Shiloh and run! I wonder if Angelina is a complete psychopath.

Some babies are freekin' ugly when they are born, they look like aliens.
Some do look like a tubby blob. I can see it.

I say cut her some slack.

My first thought when I looked at my daughter was "oh good, she's beautiful - no pointy head"

but even if she wasn't, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have admitted to anyone, much less said it where she could see it later?
