KFC Cuts Live Animals’ Throats

Cutting their throats/chopping off their heads--what's the difference. It's not like they stay alive and suffer when their brains are disconnected.

I suppose we should skip the killing step and just eat live chickens ala Ozzy?

There's a KFC near me that constantly gets these PETA whackos. Sometimes there's a guy (or girl--sometimes it's hard to tell the difference) standing outside with an LCD monitor showing a video of the so-called torture. I've often wanted to bring my laptop and my Family Guy DVD and stand near him showing the video of Peter fighting the giant chicken.

Alternately, I've considered going into the store, buying a big bucket, and then going out to talk to the protesters.

Me: What's all this about?

Whacko: KFC tortures chickens.

Me: Well, it tastes so good. You wanna piece? (reaches into bucket and shoves a big greasy breast toward whacko)

Whacko: That's evil, dude. KFC is evi...

Me (cutting in): C'mon, you're only doing this 'cause you want to tap that girl over there, right? You're a man, you eat chicken when she's not around, don't you?

Whacko: No way, man, that's torture.

Me: It's impossible to torture a chicken. It's just a stupid animal.

Those of us who live in Norfolk, VA, where they are headquartered see what the organization is really all about--money. It is obvious when you see the really nice building they have right on the banks of the Elizabeth River. Nice building on prime real estate--pretty obvious it's more about the money than about animal rights.
