That was embarrassing. The decision was idiotic and the delivery was a joke. This guy should not be on the bench, much less on TV.

A law professor told us that as bad as a jury can seem, they are often the only protection from a drunk or stupid or corrupt judge.

lol. The whole legal community in FL is probably in group-cringe mode today. Between hanging chads, euthanasia for fun & profit, homeless corpses & blubbering judges, the entire FL court system has seemed like one decade-long, embarassingly relentless & relentlessly embarassing spectacle, hasn't it? All the circus players are starting to run together (Anna Chad Schiavo?)
I think that we should just go ahead & make it official & break the news to California that it has to give up it's title of Looniest State in the Union now; no question,the contest is over. Wacked-out FL is now the undisputed national champ! Tom Tancredo said it was like a third-world country? HA! Third galaxy outpost is more like it, lol.
I've said it elsewhere, but I think most of these Florida Judges are Gore appointees.
BTW, I just checked in with Dr. Greer's office to see if he could get on the Seidlin case as you suggested. His clerk said he couldn't come to the phone b/c he was busy writing the euthanasia order for Anna Nicole's implants.
Evidently he thinks that even though they're still "perky", they can no longer be considered contributing members of society & have to go, pronto!
He might be hired by CNN Headline News to take over Nancy Graceless' show.
In law enforcement for 23 years, I have seen my share of so called Judges, wish I had someone like him hearing my cases. Most judges feel they are the world, he let it all hang out. I liked him.
