It is understood the wrecked car was taken away by the SAME truck driver who had delivered it to the owner just a week earlier.

"Bugatti super car is left a wreck" - should read 7 months pregnant woman and baby survive being hit by a nut doing 2.5 times the speed limit in a Bugatti!

The crash would hurt - both physically and financially.

Link to the beast doing 235mph at a test track. Tires only last for 15 minutes at that speed, but it runs out of gas in 12. :)

Good point. I like how they're glossing over the reckless driving.

From the article

The Bugatti driver... was reported by police for driving without due care and attention.

Doing over 100mph in a 40mph zone is "driving without due care"?

This guy should be charged with reckless endangerment. He hit a pregnant woman!

Looks like minor damage. Some bondo and fresh paint ought to do it.

I must admit I didn't read the rest of the article. I hope the woman is alright and they prosecute for more than just reckless endangerment.

I recommend duct tape.

Gee, maybe he can put it up on blocks in the front yard while he works on it too! Ain't nothin' better than duct tape and bondo to fix your car/truck, and a spray can of matching rustoleum to paint it!

No insurance company is going to insure a car worth more than a high end luxury home...

So the owner bought this car for 925,000 UK dollars. Is my conversion correct that we are looking at almost $1.8 mil?
