Anna Nicole Smith bought a yacht and christened it The Cracker in the weeks before her death.
The actress/model's last big purchase was a Carver sport yacht she fell in love with during a trip to Reel Deal Yachts in Miami Beach, Florida.
Ned Bruck, the general manager of the boat firm, tells America's People magazine, "She (Anna Nicole) liked the fact that there were two separate bedrooms and a forward deck to sunbathe and a salon living area."
Bruck claims Smith and her partner, Howard K. Stern, planned to redecorate the 10-year-old boat.
The yacht was shipped to The Bahamas, where Smith lived with Stern, on Friday.
Stern was reportedly on the boat in Fort Lauderdale when he heard that his girlfriend had been found unconscious in her suite at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Thursday. Smith died on her way to a nearby hospital.

OK-has anything been mentioned about Pol and Patrik. On LKL one of them said they were with Howard in Miami and the other went to the house and called HKS to tell him about the break-in.
I had planned to make a second table instead of including it with day to day table that I just posted - The second 2/8/07 only table would have the hours in it with what happened on 2/8/07. It will look like the other one but the hours in the day on 2/8/07 table would be on the left side with your notes on the right.

She said her brother told her Smith was running a fever of 105 degrees and that a nurse was "icing her down" earlier that day at the Florida hotel where she was staying. Bonnie Stern said Smith was sleeping when her brother left her.

If you are referring to civil unions, they're not legal in California. That stunt that Mayor Newsome (aka Major Nuisance) pulled in SF a few years ago was against state law.

NEW YORK, May. 3 (UPI) -- Trimspa's Anna Nicole Smith is reportedly pregnant and the widow of Texas billionaire J. Howard Marshall may find her herself in hot water with the dad.
The former Playboy Playmate who won the right to continue her battle for a portion of her late husband's estate conceived the baby with help from a friend, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
The Post said the unidentified father is now asking for money as well as access to the child once its born, The Post said.
Smith, 38, who has a 20-year-old son, has not been romantically linked with anyone recently, the newspaper noted.
Her manager/attorney, Howard K. Smith, could not be reached for comment.
I remember early on, we were all asking for background info on Stern, and somebody......and I believe it was Greta's show, brought on AP reporter Linda Deutsch who was said to have....dug very deeply into his past. After weeks of rumours and denials, Larry Birkhead - the man who claims to be the father - says he has proof.
He is quoted on website TMZ.com as saying: "I have seen the ultrasound and have spoken to doctors. I am very excited."
However, the former Playboy model's spokesman and legal advisor, Howard K. Stern, denies his client is expecting.
But Birkhead claims Anna Nicole's publicist is lying, saying: "Howard needs to get past his own jealousy about the relationship between myself and his only client."
However, Stern wasn't so quick to refute the claims during a recent interview.
At the time, he said: "If Anna Nicole is pregnant, she obviously doesn't want anybody to know yet. If she's not pregnant, she's not denying the rumour, because she thinks it's funny how much of a stir it's causing. She'll leave it up to you to guess which one it is."
