There was also a video camera mounted to the dash of the hearse. I think it was ET who had footage of Moe's face with Anna's coffin behind him while the hearse was traveling to the memorial service and funeral. That was way over the top and I bet it was Stern & ET's idea for the hearse cam.

In re-reading the Enquirer info she gives over there it really explains why Cyril Wecht is all over TV trying to dise Doctor Perper and spin Daniel's death. It appears that "someone" wanted Daniels autopsy to say something and Wecht went along with it and the Bahamian results were faked to agree with Wecht. Am I making any sense here? If they dig Daniel up and re-test to the result the pathologist really found Wecht's reputation is toast... and with it all his media exposure and $$$$$

Obviously, methadone was NOT prescribed for Daniel...and if he went straight from the airport to the hospital, HOW would he have gotten it? Unless, of course, HKS or ANS gave it to him IN THE HOSPITAL! It's insane...

I've also read recently that 'someone' (can't remember who it was, but I think it was someone in Stern's camp) stated that Daniel had previously 'stolen' methodone from his mother, and that she kicked him out of the house for it. I guess that could have happened..but if so, how come we haven't seen pictures of Daniel 'wasted' all over the tabloids? I know he wasn't a celebrity per se, but the tabloids post pictures of people and children of celebreties that are way less recognizable than him. Not to mention, I haven't heard or read anything that makes him appear to be a 'problem-child'...or a kid with a drug problem....EXCEPT, of course, the BS stuff from Stern with Shelley and Thompson saying that they 'heard' or someone suspected..he might be anorexic! I just believe if he was addicted or abusing methadone, we would have seen something about it on TV or in the tabloids (i.e. pictures, etc.)

I haven't figured all that out yet, as far as who is telling the truth and who isn't about the amounts of the drugs in Daniel's system.

How could there be such a huge discrepancy in tox findings between Wecht's and what is said to be the "real" amounts? It's inexplicable.

Problem is, he based his summary on there being small non-lethal amounts of each (+ the mystery drug) which had a synergistic effect on the heart, causing a disrhythmia.

The other findings show 4 more drugs he didn't mention, plus huge amounts of the ones he called non-lethal - any one of which could have been lethal - and was. I just don't know how to comprehend this.

At one point, Wecht said he had been lied to. I guess that means someone, I don't know who, but I'm sure HKS knows, sent him smaller samples or "doctored" tissue or something.

If this article is anywhere close to accurate it explains how strange Wecht has been acting since ANS died and it's been growing the closer we get to the inquest next week. Who knows what results $80,000 buys from a "Coroner to the Celebrities" these days.

I hate to sound so cynical, but I've watched Wecht for years and something is just very off about him and this particular case. He was very off last night over Perper doing an investigation into ANS death, says it's not right for the coroner to be so involved in investigating a death.

......She has a quote from the Enquirer (remember these papers are located in Florida, just a hop over to Nassau) that says Daniel had 20 times the normal amount of methadone in his system and it appears someone monkeyed with the results in the Bahamas and he and ANS may be exhumed. Says the differences are so huge it now appears the results in the Islands were faked!!...

Do not know what to make of this, 20 times the normal amount of methadone..it is from the Enquirer, who knows maybe they are on to something.

Actually, it was Larry who said it in an interview (with ET, natch) that was shown today - but taped a while back, I think.

He said that Anna *told* him that "some of her drugs were missing" "after Daniel and some of his friends" had been at their house in CA.

OK. First of all, ANS was just as co-dependent on Daniel as she was on HKS and everyone else who allowed it. She wouldn't have liked any friends Daniel had and she especially wouldn't have liked him liking school as much as he did, because she hated it so much. His going to college had to be a big panic for her.

So, she already didn't like the situation of Daniel starting to be independent from her. Then, when he found a girl friend - and it sounded like he started dating her *after* mom went to Myrtle and the Bahamas - you could see and hear the sneering in ANS's face and voice when she said his antidepressants were needed "because of some girl."

And, maybe the new friends really were a "bad crowd" as Kimmie said ANS said - maybe they really did steal some of her drugs. Did they steal them and ingest them for a high? Were these kids druggie thugs? Or did they steal them to sell them and make some spending money?

Do we think Daniel was the one who took the "missing" drugs for one of those reasons? To get high or to get money? Don't know - we know she didn't ever have a whole lot of money to go around and may have been a tightwad with him, to teach a celeb kid a good lesson - or to keep more for herself.

The flip side of all that is that ANS may very well NOT have had any drugs missing. She was perfectly capable of lying about it - but LB wouldn't think so. Or, she may have done some of her double-dosing and was so out of it she didn't even know that the missing drugs went down the hatch inside her body.

And lastly, it's possible she was selling some of them off for extra money and had to lie about them being "stolen" so she could get more. I always felt she didn't lose that $2 million worth of jewels from JHMII, either - they blamed it on a bodyguard who was a convicted felon. I thought they staged it together and got the insurance money and they're probably back in her jewelry box at Gerlene Gibson's house as we speak.

I know! I couldn't believe he said that. On the other hand, maybe Wecht *should* do a little more investigating on some of the ones he spouts off about publicly. He's very often short on facts.

But, I didn't like the idea of Perper asking interrogatory-type questions of the witnesses, either. That was very scary and could result in a no-bill on something that should have been a true-bill.

And each time she would deflect and talk about why Larry Birkhead didn't help her, or why her family didn't do more. Crier wouldn't let her get away with it, and called her on it every time she diverted. In the end, about the only defense she had was that substance abuse problems are very difficult for people....."

I wanted SO BAD for CC to say "Well, did LB obtain prescriptions and 'administer drugs/inject drugs into' ANS, as your client did, according to many witnesses??"

"Would you agree that perhaps LB did not alert authorities to your client and ANS about the drugs while she was in the hospital because he thought it might make the problem WORSE?...or that is might result in ANS (with HKS's help) LEAVING the Los Angeles jurisidiction??"

If ANS was checked into a hospital while PREGNANT and ADDICTED to drugs, officials in the hospital would be aware of it, and it would not be unheard of for the Child Protective Service office to be called, would it?"

Re: pictures of dead Daniel
I had a hard time hearing exactly what Ford said. Did he say he saw the pictures? I'll only slam someone if they end up on the web at some point, and Ford could be just as culpable if that happens as Howard, since I'm assuming this computer is one Ford took from the Bahamas house. Most would say this was morbid, but I have a best friend whose daughter died in a car accident. My friend, her husband and son were also in the car.For some reason, it was very important to her to have the police photos of the accident site, including her dead daughter. She even sent them to me.Perhaps it was to make it more real for her, or to hang on to the last time she saw her. I never questioned her reasoning and I could understand. We have no idea whatsoever that Howard or Anna had thoughts of selling those pictures, if they exist. They certainly hadn't yet and they sold a number of other ones. Could be just a personal thing.

During the body Trial, Larry said he was monitoring Anna's drugs, trying to make sure she didn't take too many or even took less. Anna could have easily blamed Daniel for taking missing drugs, that she had actually used herself. Or Stern could have planted that idea in Anna's head so she'd kick Danny out, since it seems he was jealous of Danny. Hard to know what's the truth, when it comes to HKS and ANS.

I just hate to think Daniel was using Methodone. You'd think the P.I. would have noticed if Danny was using drugs. I think the PI said Danny was a sober kid.

I was just sick hearing Ford Shelley talk about a video of Danny's death, implying Stern filmed it. Good grief!!!

You are SO right! I never cared for him before, but after seeing that video, I was DISGUSTED! If he thought ANS was carrying his baby, do you think he could have WATCHED that...much less FILMED it and commented about how that footage was 'worth money'!!!!! That is the most disgusting thing I have seen in a while...and a 'smoking gun' to me at least. I've asked many of my 'guy' friends about that video and if they would have been so nonchalant if she was carrying their baby....and GUESS WHAT....ALL of them said they would have had her committed to a rehab facility...or a hospital...they ALL said they could put up with a lot of from a woman they were in love with, BUT they would NOT put up with a woman 'endangering' their unborn child...bc it is not fair to the child!!
