They've only been back a day or two...they are in and out for now...so you might not see anything for a while, but they spent a LOT of time in the nest today!

Go to the orange "View Cam Live" and then select either Eagle Cam 1 (up in the tree) or Eagle Cam 2 (in the nest).

A shot of Mom and Dad just a few seconds ago.

I've never been in this early...would love to see the moment the eggs are laid!

You can check this link tomorrow, http://www.wvec.com/cams/eagle.html
It's a nesting pair at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens in Norfolk VA. The nest itself is about a quarter mile from the main runway at Norfolk International Airport, about a mile from Little Creek Amphibious Base and about 5 miles from Downtown. It's amazing that they're here. They've been here for about 4 years and have produced 12 offspring and have three eggs in the nest now. My office is at the other end of the airport and in the summer I can often see them soaring across the street.

Not dark here...we'll be light for several hours yet. (Just didn't want people to be confused. You're East Coast...we're West Coast.)

Don't laugh; I've been looking for my cheaters all day long; of course, I can't find them without my -- tada -- cheaters!

One of the eagles is up in the tree right now (EagleCam 1).
The nest is EagleCam 2.

Very nice! We actually had Eagles soaring overhead this fall when we had our annual October Trap Shoot. First time EVER to have Eagles soaring over our 'Back Forty' in the 12 years we've lived here.

God Bless Global Warming. :)

The coolest "Eagle Experience" I've ever had was when driving back from Decorah, IA a few Falls back. I came around a bend in the road, not far from the Mississippi River, (near Prairie du Chien) and there were at least a dozen young Eagles in an old oak tree on re-con, planning their next move for food. Or where to meet up with Girl Eagles, LOL! :)

It was really something to see. :)
