Porn is going HD-DVD

So HD-DVD is counting on the Democrats for its customer base?

There are just somethings I don't need to see that close.

Yep. That's why they install dimmer switches in the honeymoon suite.

I haven't even unpacked my first DVD player and it's already obsolete.

I'm one up on you. I've never even bought a DVD player yet. Probably never will.

You'll get my BetaMax when you pry it from my cold dead hands.

Actually, porn is on the cutting edge of all technology.

Hence, the great success of the printing press.

"Within three years it will just be Blu-ray," Frank Simonis, the Blu-ray Disc Association's European chairman, said at the CeBIT technology trade show.

Let this be a lesson to you, boys and girls: stay away from the brown acid.

As for who's going to win on the BR vs HD front, never bet against Sony's ability to screw up a clear market advantage.

Ah yes, the long ago days of Betamax.

Porn is going HD-DVD and that will make sales figures even more interesting.

I'm not sure porn will be a significant factor driving the technology market this time -- who wants to see every pimple and hair, really?

I'm not dropping a penny on it but based on the porn driving sales with VCRs over Betamax, the thought is it will happen again.

Tell me about it. I have thousands of dollars of TV shows on DVD. I'll be keeping my DVD player a bit longer, I think.

If it will play the old ones then I'll switch, otherwise, I've got way too much money in the current DVDs.

Tell me. I still have my 8-track tape player and some 78 records.

I'm happy with my DVDs. Why should I keep trying to keep up with the Jones'? I don't have $50 to spend on a Blu-ray movie just so the action will be slightly more clearer or crisper than it is on DVD. Most consumers will balk at this, IMO.

I doubt it, porn is already streaming videos online.
How do I know? Well, I accidentally typed in Whitehouse.com instead of .gov....

Good catch. Now ask the wife to go look up "happy ending" cuz you have no idea about that either. :)
