Don't bet on this one, one way or the other, anything could happen. Both Duke University and the city of Durham are facing legal liabilities big enough to shut them down and that opens doors to a lot of possible outcomes.

What a true statement!
Sometimes being an expert is pretty damn easy.
Nifong was in way over his head from the start. My belief is that he:
1. First thought a rape had happened.
2. Then when the DNA came back, tried to hide evidence get an indictment to see him through the primary.
3. He knew there was no crime but figure they would have to take it and probably planned to dismiss the charges after he was safely elected.
4. The families of course were NOT about to take it.
5. Then Nifong felt he could not drop the charges because he knew these families were after him, well before the 60 minutes segment when it was made clear to everyone.
6. And this article is the latest example how much more savy these families are than Nifong.
7. Finally this whole case shows why prosecutors don't go after people of means and people without prior records unless they have the goods on them. People with something to lose can and will fight back.
If she were an expert on the racial politics game, she wouldn't be so damn shocked.
Facts have nothing to do with this case. Just ask the Rev's Jackson & Sharpton. Those rich white boys did it --- even if they didn't.
And way overpriced.
It's about time people start voting with their pocketbooks on these scams called "elite" universities.
I vote for a bronze oak tree with three nooses and all the 88 names of the lynch mob engraved on the trunk.

I check in every morning before I start my work. I read the entire article posted. Started to well up. I realize now I am not alone -- there is sanity out there. Thank you.

Dear Friend, it won't be the first prayer I've had answered (it's one of many, many), but there has never been one since my prayer for the ability to have a child that I have prayed as fervently or as diligently. He does hear and answer.
