Well said HK...
Yeah, I only wish it'd been me that thought of it first.
Where else have you heard this synthesis of thought?
Liberals exude virulent antagonism to any position other than their own because, since indiscriminateness of thought is their sole moral imperative, any position other than their own must necessarily have involved discrimination; their sole recognized evil.
It's what's so gripping about Mr. Sayet's analysis that the Liberals' wholesale rejection of all modes of discrimination -- regarding it as the Most Unholy Thing -- lands them in a world devoid of reason. Liberals seem unhinged from reality because they eschew the ordinary day-to-day processes of rational and logical thought strictly because they require the mind to discriminate -- their one-and-only Unpardonable Sin. Having barred the mind from discriminating -- for any reason -- Liberalism is restricted to indiscriminate thinking, the upshot of which we see, and comment on, regularly.
That we are puzzled, irritated, bemused, and incredulous at their propositions is a natural result of the disconnect between the thought processes of discriminating and indiscriminating minds; ours and theirs.
We can't grok 'em cuz we insist on retaining our grasp of rational thought, with the understanding that there IS, in fact, a legitimate, proper use for the power of discrimination.
