Would you favor a ban on plastic grocery bags in your community?

Why didn't they have choice #3: Is this all really stupid and the government should ban itself?
"all really stupid and the government should ban itself"
The nanny state is in charge.
Just charge a dime for the damn bags and let the market decide.
I don't mind bringing my own canvas bag, but a nanny-state ban is ridiculous.
Did they airbrush out the cigarette from the hand of that Brit female prisoner?
Reminds me of the battle over disposable diapers.
"Disposables clog landfills!" "Cotton diapers use precious clean water to wash and electrical power"
Frankly, I am glad that the diaper pail is long gone in most households.
At our current usage, we won't run out of landfill space for approx 700 years.
The idea of reusable hopping bags isn't that bag, but I really don't see what the big deal with the plastic bags is. It's like everything, a few maggots don't dispose properly, so nanny staters ban them for all of us.
I have a love hate relationship with plastic bags. When their in my trees or in my fence i hate them.
No, but I would favor public beatings for those who litter and let their plastic bags blow around in the street.
First it's "go plastic and save the tree's" and now it's what?
"favor public beatings for those who litter and let their plastic bags blow around in the street."
One of the reasons I took abunch of bushes outta my front yard. Trashcatchers.
Gunny sacks at our races are all reusable. /snicker
If it weren't for bagged purchases, how could Psychiatrist's make a living?
"First it's "go plastic and save the tree's" and now it's what?"
Off trees and save the plastic!
What ever is usable fodder to set the minds of the populous and bring in the political dough!
Being "progressive" means changing constantly even if it is a change back to the same ol' and then back again time and time again...
Hey, you gotta admit my inadvertant typo's are worthy of a jab at me! LOL!
