I doubt it. I've got to believe Gore has a much bigger operation than that.

Agreed. If we had cops actually fighting real crime and real criminals, instead of wasting time on these victimless crimes, then we'd have safe streets once again.

“drawing more power” is a relative term. He was growing some carbon offsets.

What a dumbass. He could have used 1/100 of the space and grown hydroponic, and made as much money. Domestic growers cannot compete in dirt weed with the Mexican’s who ship it over by the container load. The money is in Hydro, and it garners as much per ounce as gold - at least it was when I was in college ;)

LOL... I bet the heart-attack rate on that street was 1000 times the national average.

That is probably what tipped off the authorities. In many local power regions any home owner that uses a lot more electricity that the average is reported to the authorities.

Would it have been possible to use a generator to power the lights to grow those? If so, would he have gone undetected?

If he was truely green, he could have installed solar panels and a windfarm out back.
Or he could have fooled the power companies by installing compact flourescent lights!

Note the flourescents for the “saplings” and the high-intensities for the more mature plants.
