Today's guests include: Howard Fineman, Ted Nugent, Bernard Goldberg
Call: 1-800-509-RANT
Great line from yesterday:
"I see in the news that a Northwest Airlines pilot was arrested for posssession of cocaine. They must have been tipped off to his habit when his flight arrived on time!"
Anyone else have trouble with Miller’s Streaming audio in Firefox (latest update)?
For some reason I can’t get it from his Homepage, and the livestream I do get will not air the 1hr replay.
It won’t come on at all before 10:00. :(
Tis working for me.
I got it now...but never before 10. I want to hear that 3rd hour replay sometimes...hmmm.
Something wrong with the Main thread? I’m not seeing my post and can’t update.
Its, here, babe.
Dennis says do something about automatic weapons.
Yeah, get more of them for the potential victims out there.
Holy Crap! He just lost me as a listener.
PLEASE TAKE ME OFF THIS IDIOT’S PING LIST.
Why not call him and tell him he’s an idiot? He said he wanted to be persuaded.
Maybe he’s out to pick up Imus’ former guests?
Hey all!
Miller has always been anti-gun, that hasn’t changed.
Is something wrong with the Main thread? Im not seeing my original post and cant update. Can’t get people to join the thread when it’s not there.
I think the question needs to be asked also. These weapons in dangerous hands is devestating. I am pro gun but ... if you’re going to turn off Dennis, he’s nothing compared to what the liberals are gonna say (and demand).
Well, I can see you original post at the top of this thread. Click on the title and see what happens.
Good morning everybody. Dennis is learning. That’s a good caller.
Gun Free Zone = Kill Zone
BTW ... Props to the 76yr old Holocaust Survivor professor who shielded his students with his body, saving many student lives. Note to W: Medal of Freedom to Professor Liviu Librescu.
I too was shocked when he said that. Indeed, he did not know the difference between an automatic and semi-automatic. Having listened to the show, he admits his ignorance and just had Ted Nugent on. Also, a caller advised him to read John Lott’s empirical studies on an armed citizenry and Dennis said he would do so. He admits his ignorance and has vowed to educate himself as this discussion will continue. It will be interesting to see what tune he is playing if he does so. That said, I was very surprised by his ignorance but impressed by his willingness to admit the same and to learn more.
Agreed.
Yeah. I just wonder if this is his schtick.
I’m listening to the podcast, and Fineman just blows me away how ignorant and arrogant the gun-grabbers are.
Rather than tune into someone that you know how they feel, perhaps he does this specifically to “polish” his audience cross section.
I’m cringing now, but maybe his lib listeners will cringe when the nuge comes on. So, maybe, if Rush is right that we always win on ideas, perhaps this format is the best way to propagate this.
Agreed. Fineman really is an smug elitist and was tough to listen to. Nugent, on the other hand, kicks butt. Gotta run. Have a great night.
I just heard him repeat that on the rebroadcast!
Miller is a dope on this issue
Miller doesn’t have the first understanding of this issue. He should stick to comedy.
Im listening to the show know,at least he is staying open minded, but he leans lib on this issue
L0L he just called a .22 a 22MM handgun L0L
Thats anti aircraft ordenance L0L
FYI, John Lott is on the second hour with Dennis. Dennis was just on with Bill Sammon (who has a child who is a student student at Va Tech) and is already showing some signs of learning. I listen live here every day beginning at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time: http://www.wjna.com/
You have to admit he is rational thoughtful and open minded about it. He is trying. I appreciate that in people.
Yep. He is truly a great addition to the airwaves. Got him on in the background, gotta get some work done. Have a great day....
Thanks, Eureka!! You too!!! and I LOVE the bumper music! :o)
I listen to the podcast.
I think Miller is so good as a broadcaster, that he makes it sound as if he’s really “learning.”
Fact is, I think he’s so good that he’s demonstrating how to “third way” the radio audience into thinking he’s sincere.
Maybe he is, but, I dunno.
I mean, he acted as if he’d never heard of “More guns, less crime” yesterday...and today, TADA! John Lott!
Agreed. So far, he is also had very good guests and is not only a good interviewer about has a great disposition. Compared to some other hosts that have begun to grate on me, he is truly a breath of fresh air and I would not be surprised if he goes very, very far. I have to run to get some work done. You have a great day Sam.
