A northern Swedish bishop is heading a campaign to boycott Scandic Hotels following the group's decision to remove copies of the Bible from its rooms. Bishop Tony Guldbrandzén has decided to cancel all reservations made by the diocese of Härnösand with the Swedish-owned hotel chain.
The bishop's office has so far made around one hundred cancellations for the month of May, which is the time of year when the diocesan council is due to meet.
