I remember this $hitbag. He used his daughter to get close to the victims. He was also interviewed by the media before he was a known suspect. Proving those morons are no good judge of character.

There’s something to be said for the justice meted out to child killers by other inmates in prison.

Yes there is - it's unworthy of a civilized nation. Weaver's punishment was determined by a court of law, there is no provision for anything extracurricular. It's exactly what leads to the Jim McDougals of the world being denied their heart medication.

Criminal justice has to be carried out by the book, or not at all.

I remember him too. What I really remember is they interviewed the girl that was murdered second about the first murder, she spoke about how scared she was and how she missed her friend.

To hear she was missing just a few days later, that hurt.

” Convicted child killer Ward Weaver survived a stabbing by an inmate barber at the Snake River Correctional Institution”

Somehow, the idea of “correcting snakes” sorta fits the whole scene...

He probably only had electric shears.

Even better. Yank the cord from the shears and apply a lead to each earlobe.

****Yes there is - it’s unworthy of a civilized nation.****

The nation didn’t kill him - an inmate did.

So - you might ask why wasn’t he protected from the inmate?

That means solitary confinement - some say that is worse than death.

Weaver asked the inmate barber to give him a trim. The barber mistook it for, “Give me some trim,” and stabbed Weaver. The barber’s cellmate said it was an unfortunate mistake, but he’s happy his bitch was true to him.
