In regards to Memorial Day observance... We had the most people turn out this year for our observance than I have seen in a while. Not as many as it could, but it's a start!
Managed to take a nap.
Here it is 5:15 and just a light rain has started falling, we need some bad too.
Hope that rain comes thru for you Toby.
I'm going to listen to Frank Gaffney on Hewitt's show while I get ready for a friend to come over for short visit in awhile.

GC, that is very good. I’m so glad that you got it organized and have begun. So many good ideas don’t come to fruition because they are just never begun. How many people did you have?
General announcement: I won’t be here much today. My bronchitis, while responding to some meds, is fighting back! I am very tired.

Hi! I watched ‘Band of Brothers’ yesterday on the History channel. Excellent series, I still haven’t seen the whole thing yet. I need to buy the DVDs of it.
Toby, your Golden Cross Club sounds wonderful...Christian fellowship is a great joy, and there is are so many in a need of it.

I think a lot of the population spends too much time listening to cnn and the like. I’m surprised there are so many Americans who really don’t even think of Memorial Day, except it’s a “day off”. I see it in our little town. It’s sad.

I will tell him that. I like it that I can stay in touch with him on a regular basis. I appreciate your son playing TAPS at the service. Real music is so much more sincere than a tape.
I’m doing fine other than this bronchitis. I have literally had this sickness in one form or another since right before Christmas. Sometimes it has been a cold, other times it is just nasal congestion. Now it’s bronchitis which is leaving me extremely weak. We think it is the reason I had the leukemia scare. I had become so used to the sickness that for a time I was asymptomatic.
I’m now on yet another powerful antibiotic. Hopefully this and the change of location next week will knock it out of the system.
