Its odd. I didn’t think much of Shep Smith til 9/11. On that infamous day, he was magnificent, and it continued for weeks afterwards.
Then they sent him down to NOLA after Katrina, and he became a blubbering fool, making wildeye’d accusations, reporting even wilder rumors that never panned out (Dozens dead in the Dome was one of them).
I’ve stopped watching him. I’ll catch the last few minutes of Gibson show, all of Hume’s, then its the NFL channel for the day’s updates.

I’ll bet Shep lives in a log cabin.

Shep Smith: An 11-year-old's mind locked in a 16-year-old's head trying to do a grown-up's job.
Fox News' biggest embarrassment (and that takes a lot!)

His understanding of and grasp on the things he reports is very shallow.
He is like the folks on FR who read the headline and then post without reading the article or post.

Actually, if you listen to him, he usually doesn’t let either side get their points in. He has his own view on whatever subject being discussed and that’s it. He’s hard to stomach. Plus, he’s the world’s worst reader of the telepromter.
To: Recovering_Democrat
He’s like a hysterical Nicole Kidman wannabe.
No insult to Nicole intended. The resemblence is uncanny.
I’m waiting for him to get the vapors and collapse over the next flood.

He was behind my best friend in the Green Monster seats at Fenway when the Yankees came to down at the end of last season. He had a whole tray of beer. 8 in all. He must have pulled a; “do you know who I am”.

That’s kind of funny. I assume the beers were all for him.

The pro-illegal whining on Brit Humes program is nauseating. As little as I think of pretty boy shep, he is a dirt bag, I think you have nailed the stick-o hume and barn crowd.

I totally loved him in Peyton's Place and Seven Brides For Seven Brothers.
BTW, did anyone see the interview with the mother and lawyer of the guy that went to prison for having oral sex with his girlfriend?
The lawyer was appropriately named B.J. Bernstein!

CBS should hire Shep. He could make Katie look good. He's a make-up artist?
