This is a little bizarre, but I think the explaination is going to be rather simple. There are plenty of programs out there that allow people to connect to other computers and operate it just as if they were there (GoToMyPC.com, VNC, etc).
It seems likely to me that Chris himself used such a program to gain access to a WWE computer in Stamford, CT and he made the edit himself.
Mystery solved.

Numerous beer cans were found in his house around him. I highly doubt he was revising his wiki entry while deeply enebriated.
I’ll believe it when the IP address is confirmed by authorities.
This is the kind of thing that "respectable" journalists point to as a problem with bloggers and such.
Anybody can report anything unvetted and the rest of the world goes nuts.
Having said that, the MSM picked up on this and ran with it even though everyone knows that Wikipedia is constantly vandalized with erroneous info.
The guy that did this was notorious for posting vandalizm, according to Wikipedia.
I don’t know why people would latch onto this. At best it’s only 50% correct.
