And, you haven’t got the humidity we have, either.

We get the humidity plenty, but not like you.

of course the last time I went to Vegas I didn’t like the “dry heat” all that much either......

of course no one complains about the heat when they’re at the beach! (yeah, we don’t have one of those here either)

Nah man, North Carolina.

Glad you like my boy. He’s a good ole boy, I tell you what.

The other dog is a lab also. He is retarded. Smartest dumbass I’ve ever seen.

Spend a little more and get a STIHL with a KombiSystem ... you'll be glad you did. Mine has outlasted 6 other brands I've had over the years. Rugged, durable and interchangeable systems, so you don't have to own several other power tools.

I’ve been trying to find the brand name of the cow manure compost I’ve used for the past few years, but no luck. Goggle is not being nice today.

Go by your local Home Depot and look for natural “Cow Manure Compost” in the green and white bags. Put no more than 1/4 inch on the lawn.

We have a little place 3 blocks from the gulf, two and half hours from here. We were in Vegas June 15. It was VERY hot.

But owning as many power tools as possible is my objective. Why, thats the reason I wake up in the morning.:)
The Kombi looks cool though...

My neighbor has the compost thing. He puts eveything in there including food scraps and cat turds. We uses it for his flowering plants.

My road leading to my neighborhood has cattle farms. But they save all the poop. Its big business.

Naj has a compost pile.

I have all the attachments and just love it. Every winter I have it serviced by the dealer and it has performed flawlessly...and it has tons of hours on the motor. Seriously, check it out. Stihl's backpack blower is great too.

Putting the compost on the lawn will save on your water bill. I also aerated the soil and I’ve been mowing two - three times a week. No commercial fertilizer at all.

I set my mower at the second setting for the summer, and still have a lot of clippings that I have to mow over to get them to fall between the grass for mulch.

Probably wouldn’t hurt to put so compost in the front yard. We have packed red clay around here.

I think I’ll try to keep it fairly dry in the backyard so when the dogs go outside. The kids play out there too. Somehow our grass around here is healthy even in dry conditions. Just doesn’t grow as much. When it rains steady, it really shoots up quick.

I’ve always heard to mow ‘taller’ in summer, to protect the roots. We have an article about a man who puts beer and wears old gold shoes to aerate. It’s much simpler than a compost. No comment on compost people.

People Magazine, June 19, 1989 - the man’s name is Jerry Baker.

If you p.m. me your e-mail address I will copy send it to you!
