Sample of the questions:

I have a 3 inch 870 and with OO Buckshot use either a full or extra full choke. (yes, i said X-TRA FULL turkey choke...it hasn’t hurt my gun and will not harm yours either, but OO is as large of shot as i would go)This is a lethal combo. I shoot remington OO buckshot with that X-TRA full turkey choke and i have killed countless deer at 50 yards. At 40 yards i can put all 15 pellets in a piece of cardboard 3’x 4’. It will do the trick for sure at 30 yards, without question!
If you have a special slug gun with a rifled barrel, then go ahead, BUT if you have a normal shotgun ...I would stay away from slugs.
If your thinking about slugs very heavily , maybe you would be suited shooting something like a 30-30.

Oh yeah, and if your shot placement is correct, there is nothing going to finish the job better than a high powered rifle!
(I use a Browning BAR 7mm Mag loaded with 160 grain Barnes X Bullet)

Whatever you choose, remember...the gun will do it’s job , if you do yours!

Use a standard chicken-choke.

Double-ought buckshot will work well with a standard chicken-choke configuration.

For sure, choke that chicken and shoot well.
