Fortunately, I missed last weeks episode of the Fox network show, So, You Think You Can Dance? If I had seen it, I might have damaged my TV set. According to Newsbusters, the show featured a dance judge wearing Marine Dress Blues with upside-down Marine emblems on the sleeves and anti-war dances by the contestants. Video at Weblogging. The moonbat judge had absolutely no ideano, none at allthat wearing Marine insignias upside-down would offend anyone.
But the problem didnt stop with her. Adding to the perfect storm of controversy on Wednesday nights show was Dances other Emmy-nominated choreographer, Wade Robson. He had fashioned the 10 identical solo dances around an antiwar theme. Set to the music of John Mayers Waiting on the World to Change, the dancers wore peace symbols and printed slogans.

What I'm wondering is, what if one or more of those contestants is not anti-war? How fair was that to force them to do an anti-war dance? What a joke. I'd like to hear the ensuing uproar if that choreographer wanted them to do a pro-war (i.e pro-AMERICA) dance.
Choreographer Wade Robson. Bias? From this guy? Nah. /sarc
Apparently there was a tsunami of negative email to the show. The judges were all over themselves apologizing the next night!
I’m glad my TV is on only for NFL games and for DVD viewing. Otherwise I’d have probably broken several dozen TV’s by now.
Ping for later...
