To be thanked are Sierra Vista Kiwanis Club, Sierra Vista Parks and Leisure staff, Kmart, Frys Supermarket, Lowes, Pepsi, James Gross CPA, Huachuca Astronomy Club (Jeanne Herbert, Andrew Herbert, Calvin Hoyt, Gary Myers, Tony Maslanka and Bob Gent), Huachuca Rock and Mineral Club (Ingrid Baillie and Linda Czyzyk), Robert and Sonja Stoner, Mike Crownhart, Claire Clemente, Stephanie Schroer, Marla Stoner, Adam Thrasher, Dwayne Smith, and Mike and Eileen Stephany.
The event was a great success with more than 80 Cub Scouts who benefited from the efforts and support of the above mentioned businesses and individuals. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a positive, rewarding event for our Cochise County Cub Scouts.

There are Scout Supporters out there.
Okaw Valley Council - Crooked Creek District - Pack 39 - Bear Den assistant leader bump.
Just a side story on scouting - If any of ya’ll saw the June 13 episode of Letterman - during the “Small Town News” segment - which is usually reserved for funny stuff - he mixed it up for a moment and put up a shot of a young scout kissing a snake on a dare from his cubmaster - that kid is my son - neat huh? (Letterman’s show subscribes to our small town paper.)
I didn’t even get to see it - but people in my small town did - and of course it was a big hit with the district and the council.
wait until PETA hears about this! Sounds good but you forgot the salsa. Would work good for Cinco de Mayo too.
It’s silly so the Cub Scouts laugh and remember it.
