An arrest warrant has been issued for a fourth suspect wanted in connection with last weekend's execution-style killings that left three Newark college students dead and a fourth seriously injured, authorities said this morning.
Rodolfo Godinez, 24, also known as Rodolfo Gomez, a Nicaraguan national whose last known addresses were in the Ivy Hill section of Newark is being sought by authorities. Newark Police Director Garry McCarthy called Godinez "a principal player" and said he would be charged with three counts of murder, felony murder and weapons charges.
McCarthy and Essex County Prosecutor Paula Dow said Godinez' previous addresses were on Midland Avenue in Newark and Manor Drive, also in Newark. Since he was 19, Godinez has several robbery and weapons possession arrests, they said.
Meanwhile, funeral services are under way for the three victims, who were lined up against a wall behind the Mount Vernon School in Newark's Ivy Hill section last Saturday night.
Hundreds of mourners and several politicians were gathered at the Metropolitan Baptist Church on Springfield Avenue for the funeral of Dashon Harvey, 20.
The funeral, which began at 9 a.m., was closed to the media, but Lupe Todd, a spokeswoman for Mayor Cory A. Booker, said Sen. Robert Menendez, Senate President Richard Codey, Prosecutor Paula Dow and Police Director Garry McCarthy were in attendance.

You know, really, it’s better and better. First, they are ILLEGALS. So the pressure will be on against Amnesty for a teeny bit anyway. I will have more news reports to fax to Teddy. The perps are squealing and being picked up. Bails are $1M. All these things, really, are GOOD.

Now the rape of the 5 y.o. is basically a freebie for him - he’s getting a life sentence for the murders (death being unlikely in NJ). He may not even be tried for the rape, to spare the child and her family testifying.
Prison justice is unlikely. He’s a mean violent gang member and child rape is all too prevalent in some communities. He’ll just move with the local branch of his gang behind bars. If a black guy manages to knife him, it will be for killing three black kids, not raping a little Hispanic girl.

The rest of Newark is Black and dangerous at all times. Newark has been governed by a series of Black politicians since the Race Riots of the 1970s, when a significant portion of the city was torched by it’s own residents.
