HP, Dell, and Apple are the top three sellers now for a reason. Sure you can buy cheaper but you normally get what you pay for. Depending on your purpose you might try buying a media kit from CDW for ~$30, but your OEM license key from Acer would cause some issues with full reinstalls etc.
100% of the notebook PCs on the planet are built in Commy China (~80%), Taiwan (~10%), or S. Korea (~10%). About 75% of the production is for manufactures based in Taiwan with plants in Commy China. Every top-tier brand uses the same small manufacturing base.
