Saw this headline on another forum: DEBKAfile reports: Russians employed at Irans Bushehr nuclear reactor suddenly depart in a body, according to local Arab sources
Was wondering if Debka is ever right about things? What is their accuracy rate?
TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: bushehr; debka; iran; nukes

From what I’ve seen they are rarely right in part and virtually never right in whole.

Not very reliable. It is given to sensational claims that don’t pan out.
To: Blogger
Pretty damn near zero. Otherwise, the Iranian government would have been overthrown by now.

How’s that any different from the MSM?

Come on Red, why are you degrading the Enquirer by comparing them to debka?
The Enquirer is right at least ocationally.

How reliable is the NYT, CBS, NBC, ABC, the CIA, the State Department?
Debka's in that ballpark, maybe better.

Debka is good for a racy giggle sometimes. Not much else.

That’s what I thought. But I still see lots of folks referencing them, so I was wondering, “why?” Sounds like entertainment value.

Look at it like this...Debka's 'source' for this sensational story is something called the "Khorramshar News Agency" - a quick google search for the "Khorramshar News Agency" reveals two pages :
1st page is the very same Debka article
2nd page is reposting the same article from Debka
In other words, the "Khorramshar News Agency" doesn't exist outside of this Debka piece of fiction.

DEBKA is 100% accurate if the event is within a block of their office. For events at greater distance they utilize Remove Viewing.
