My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

The winds are certainly high enough to knock down power lines and weak tree limbs. Should you get high winds, you may want to consider lowering all of your windows from the top about an 1 and 1/2 inches.

Oh my, had a wonderful day. Went shopping with my daughter to the Bath and Beyond store, I saved $167.00, buying reduced or tiny damage goods.
I was able to get two lush new bath towels, really fancy trim with a tassel -large size, three wash cloths matching the towels, a gorgeous white shower curtain, a tall skinny metal rack with many shelves it was a little bent, and many items which I needed. Then we were hungry and went to Chilies to eat. It was wonderful.
After we arrived at my place she help me place the things that needed to be hung up.

That number is what it would have cost me at regular price, my cost was $92.00.

That’s fine. I do believe it’s one of the best pieces I’ve written. That poem is posted in various places under the handle of Knittingknots (so you might want to indicate that, so nobody says we stole it!)
Sort of keep my fan fiction stuff separate from the rest of what I write...

When we get to our age we do certain attributes that are worn with pride. It means we survived. The younger generation does not understand this. Ask one of the younger crowd what a “Slipstick” is and see what kind of answer they respond with. I had many a day with a furrowed brow with that gadget.
