I’ve seen the Blue Angels both in SF and in Texas and they ARE impressive.
I hate to sound corny, but they made me feel proud to be an American.
The planes are beautiful and the guys flying is amazing.
And THEY ARE AMERICAN!!!

Is that a bird he hits or near misses right at the start of that video? Otherwise...cool.

Best part is the queers in the background squealing in excitement.

I'm glad they're still making appearances in the Bay Area. The Navy used to be well represented there, and it was a great port of call in the past (thinking WWII era). Now virtually all the military bases in the area are closed.
I wonder where they stay while they're performing in S.F.? I worked at Moffett Field when the Navy was still there, and used to have a grand stand view of their practice flights before the air shows there. They used to park their aircraft (including the C-130) on the ramp right outside our hangar.

How about a low-level pass over the Castro District tonight??....only for a fuel dump and a flare drop...

During the early 80’s, I was stationed at Pax River where MacAir was testing the Hornet. One of their test pilots, LCRD Mike Tkach, was a reservist pilot in our P-3 squadron. He offered me a ride in their remaining 2 seater Hornets. All I needed was the ejection seat training since I was already flight crew. Never got around to it. I kick myself occasionally for not getting it done. I always wondered how he felt leaping out of the Hornet and getting into a P-3. Kinda like going from a Corvette to a Greyhound bus.
