According to my dictionary (Oxford):

Hock2
Informal term for pawn.

Hawk2
carry around and offer goods for slae, typically advertising them by shouting.

In case anyone cares. ;-) There isn't any selling definitely for "hock", and no pawning definition for "hock".

Er...obvious typo in that last bit - no pawning definition for “hawk”.
