Will secret clubs pick next prez?
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | November 1, 2007 | World Net Daily Exclusive

Posted on 11/01/2007 3:44:45 AM PDT by Man50D

Nearly every person elected as president of the United States since then – and nearly every opponent – has belonged to a secretive, globalism-oriented organization known as the Council Foreign Relations.

Some presidents and their challengers have belonged to additional clubs of internationalists – the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission. Running mates, too, more often than not have had ties to the groups.

That the groups exert enormous influence on public policy is indisputable. What is disputed is whether such groups are, as adherents and members argue, just discussion forums for movers and shakers, or, as critics have long alleged, secret societies shaping a new world order from behind the scenes. On that last point at least, no one could challenge the critics: All these groups operate in considerable secrecy, away from the scrutiny of the American public.

Regardless of how one characterizes them, the fact that virtually all presidents belong to the same secret clubs prompts the author of a new book to wonder if the 2008 election will also be a contest between globalist insiders. Judging from the list of frontrunners of each party, Daniel Estulin, author of "The True Story of the Bilderberg Group," may be on to something.

According to a variety of sources, the following presidential candidates are either members of one of the groups or have strong ties: Hillary Rodham Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, John McCain, John Edwards, Fred Thompson, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd and Bill Richardson.

Mike Huckabee, though not a member, spoke to the CFR in September. Since then, his political star has risen to the point that he has become a top-tier candidate.

So often throughout recent history it has been the case.

"Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will," he wrote. "If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

Why doesn't that surprise me?

“Oh gawd, here we go again...”

Maybe, but is it true?

A 13 trillion dollar economy with several means of control of the growth or stagnation of the same and everything is left to mere chance?

please.

For example, is there any difference between Rudy and Hillary?

Why would you suppose that is?

And on that subject We’re still a bit incredulous on this one, but a top level U.S. Department of Justice official is telling Big Head DC that Michael Musto’s rumor about Hillary Clinton fooling around with one of her top female aides Huma Abedin is based in reality!

And it’s not a conspiracy if it is out in the open and being chatted about in public now is it?

OK, This is all fine and dandy, so membership in the Trilateral Council on Foreign Bilderburgers One Worlder Elitist Socialist Society is the Presidential Union Card. It is obvious that after 9/11 this has changed just a little bit. Herself the First of Charlatan is the poster-wench for this crowd this time around.

There is that, and there are things like the FCC, Rush, Hannity etc can be shut down in 30 days or less, oil prices are manipulatable through the dollar, and as much as I despise the Koz Boyz, there was the Hildebeast and Markos kissing her pinky ring.

From Rush to Markos, if one is an influential media member, one is going to be co-opted.

Another example, look how well the Economy has done for the last 4 years, yet it is not mentioned at all (230 times in 06 Iraq War was in the 100,000’s) and now the only mention is “Housing bubble bursts”.

Hmmm, how can that be.../s

Depends what you mean by “Control”.

For another example, Sarkozy only started really being pro America about two months before the elections when it was apparent that we were not leaving Iraq anytime soon.

The French lost tens of billions in oil contracts when we overthrew Saddam, why would the French (ELF etc) suddenly and quickly “make nice” with us?

The petro euro is just as real as the petro dollar...naaah, tin foil hat stuff....

"For example, is there any difference between Rudy and Hillary?"

Is there any difference between being boo'd by NYC police and firefighters or being cheered? Is there a difference between how both view the war on terror? Is there a difference between how both view the 2nd Amendment? Is there a difference between how both view health care? Is there a difference between how both view immigration and giving illegals government documents? Is there a difference between how both would take from one group and give to another?

YES! There is a HUGE difference. Anyone who says there isn't a difference, has fooled themselves.

“Booed or cheered by firefighters and police”

Hillary was booed, there have been several 9/11 firefighters step forward to dispute Rudy’s role during 9/11.

“Is there a difference in the way they view the war on terror?”

I think so, one for Rudy.

“Is there a difference..second amendment”

No, Rudy actually sued firearms makers and sued successfully to have the line item veto overturned as well as making NYC a sanctuary city.

“Is there a difference between taking from one group and giving to another”

Rudy has yet to sign the no tax increase pledge.

Is there a differnce between Rudy and Hildebeast on things like Abortion, Gay (right to) Marriage, judicial philosophy, appointments to positions, for Hsue, there is a Kerik.

Rumor has it, the Whitehouse is standing behind Rudy this coming election because, the President and his advisers feel he is the best candidate to carry on Bush’s policies.

Some of those policies are good (WOT,economy) while, the open borders, globalist mentality will eventually be the ruin of this country. Throw in the pro-abortion, pro-gay, gun grabbing aspects and watch how fast we sink.

Rudy was consistantly said he supports the 2nd Amendment and that each state and local governments should have their own laws that work for them, not laws imposed by the federal government, whereas, daBEAST wants federal total control. BIG difference.

I don't care what gays do. Actually, the more they 'do' ... the more pathetic they become, and already starting to get public backlash.

Rudy is personally against abortion, thinks it is an individual state issue, and on record wanting laws against partial-birth abortion, whereas, daBEAST wants federal law to allow all abortions without any restrictions whatsoever.

There are major differences between the two on most issues. The more simple question to ask,

"Between Rudy and daBEAST, which issue is exactly agreed upon?"

The CFR bogeyman is a fairy-tale, and anyone who believes that they're some "secret society" bent on ruling the world (or even a part of it) is making a fool of themselves.

Hence, I'm not surprised this wound up in WND.

>Rudy is personally against abortion,

[GEORGE] WILL: Is your support of partial birth abortion firm?

Mayor GIULIANI: All of my positions are firm. I have strong viewpoints. I express them. And I--I do not think that it makes sense to be changing your position.... ABC News February 6, 2000

TUCHMAN: Giuliani was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions, something Bush strongly supports.

GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing. - CNN December 2, 1999

BLITZER: If you were in the Senate and [President Clinton] vetoed, once again, the [ban on the] so-called partial-birth abortion procedure, you would vote against sustaining that against the -- in favor of the veto in other words, you would support the president on that.

GIULIANI: Yes. I said then that I support him, so I have no reason to change my mind about it.

BLITZER: All right. So the bottom line is that on a lot of these very sensitive issues whether on guns, abortion, patients' bill of rights, taxes, you are more in line with the president and by association, with Mrs. Clinton, than you are against them. - CNN February 6, 2000

MR. RUSSERT: A banning of late-term abortions, so-called partial-birth abortions--you're against that?

MAYOR GIULIANI: I'm against it in New York, because in New York...

MR. RUSSERT: Well, if you were a senator, would you vote with the president or against the president? [Note: President Clinton was in office in 2000]

MAYOR GIULIANI: I would vote to preserve the option for women. I think that choice is a very difficult one. It's a very, very--it's one in which people of conscious have very, very different opinions. I think the better thing for America to do is to leave that choice to the woman, because it affects her probably more than anyone else....

MR. RUSSERT: So you won't change your view on late-term abortion in order to get the Conservative Party endorsement?

MAYOR GIULIANI: It isn't just that. We shouldn't limit this to one issue. I'm generally not going to change my views - NBC Meet the Press, February 6, 2000

I think we can all agree there’s too much Big corporate money controlling our politicians.

As long as U.S. politics remains status quo, that problem will not go away. Two proposed cures: eliminate poltical "careers" with strict term limits, and require that all political contribtions be anonymous (you can't sell influence if you don't know who is buying). After the fair tax is passed, use the remaining shell of the IRS to collect and distribute the donated funds.

I can dream, can't I?

“Rudy was consistantly said he supports the 2nd Amendment and that each state and local governments should have their own laws that work for them, not laws imposed by the federal government, whereas, daBEAST wants federal total control. BIG difference.”

Not really, Rudy tried to sue firearms makers out of existence, Hillary wants to regulate them out of existence, no difference at all as they both wind up at the same place.

“I don’t care what gays do. Actually, the more they ‘do’ ... the more pathetic they become, and already starting to get public backlash.”

So when Rudy changes “Don’t ask, don’t tell” and homosexuality is granted legitimacy, there will be no protest and nothing that can be done, the dye is cast then.

No thanks, better to keep that camel’s nose out of the tent in the first place.

And can you honestly say that Hildebeast won’t do the same thing?

“Rudy is personally against abortion, thinks it is an individual state issue, and on record wanting laws against partial-birth abortion, whereas, daBEAST wants federal law to allow all abortions without any restrictions whatsoever.”

Revisionism is never pretty, you should know better. Rudy is the same man who stated that he would give his own daughter money for an abortion, not even the Hildebeast has went that far, how much more “Innayourface” would you need before the truth becomes apparent?

The only difference between the two is the War on Terror, if that is your issue, then by all means, vote Rudy, for myself, I do not plan on winning the War on Terror and losing my country at the same time.

“When we see a lot of framed timbers, different portions of which we know have been gotten out at different times and places, and by different workmen... and when we see those timbers joined together, and see that they exactly make the frame of a house or a mill, all the tenons and mortises exactly fitting, and all the lengths and proportions of the different pieces exactly adapted to their respective places, and not a piece too many or too few... in such a case we find, it impossible not to believe that... all understood one another from the beginning, and all worked upon a common plan or draft, drawn up before the first blow was struck.” —Abraham Lincoln, deducing from objective evidence the blueprint of a political plot to save the institution of slavery.

If Rudy even hints at remaining unopposed to partial-birth abortions, that by itself will keep me from supporting him for anything.

I remain a Thompson supporter. I have doubts that he can win. That is why I was hoping for a fall-back candidate in Rudy. But, now, no-way if what I said happens above.
