I personally don't have much respect for someone who openly prays to God, then blows off a foul mouthed pitch like that, he is the icon of hypocrisy. However, his phone conversation was private. Should a private phone conversation cost him his career and fortune?

Amen. The snobby "He's trash" comments are disappointing me, he may not be perfect but he is a believer and he has done a lot of good. He's always talking to the criminals he catches and encouraging them to get off drugs and start a new life. He caught a fugitive rapist, risking his own safety, and some people would rather call HIM "trash"? Sad.

I hate to admit this, but I work in a small office with a couple of women and we usually listen to The View on the radio. Whoopi Goldberg, of all people, defended Dog today. She basically said, “Who among us hasn’t used language in private that we would not use in public?” Actually agreeing with her is a first for me. (After The View and the local news, we put the radio on Rush.)

I don’t think it should be pulled. I am tired of the double standards where “that” word is used. Why can blacks & rappers use it? I don’t care for “that” word . I think the son & his girlfriend are selling out for much needed money. I don’t watch Dog’s show, have a few times but its just not that interesting. However I do admire Dog for getting that rapist Andrew Luster into a jail here where he belonged & nobody else seemed to be able to do it. If I were the Dog I would have said ..I am sorry , I will not use the word again but this is my private life. End of story.

BINGO! I AGREE 100%. Get ready for this POSs many defenders and lovers here at FR to appear and chastize you soon. I said the same thing in another Dog thread and was ripped to shreds. I just don’t understand why he’d even have a following here. Some see him as some sort of folk hero or something.
