Lieberman: I might vote for a Republican presidental candidate

Sen. Joe Lieberman just now on Fox said he might vote for the Republican presidential candidate because the Democrats have lost sight of reality. He sees the Democrats 'more worried about and angry at President Bush than the terrorists who want to kill us.' (paraphrased).

Liebermann needs to caucus with the Republicans. He would turn all the Senate committee chairs over to the GOP if he did that.

Joe does know that the dems are a bunch of sell outs, and regardless of his other “short comings” he one of the most outspoken advocates on the WOT.

I like Lieberman, for the most part. He's pretty rational on most issues. I've met him a few times, the most recently this past Sunday. He was at the Waterbury (CT) Democratic Party rally prior to Election Day. He and our mayor ore good buddies, from back in the day when Lieberman was CT AG and the mayor was an assistant AG.

In fact, Lieberman received probably his strongest support from this area when he won reelection last year. It's a heavily Democratic, but also, for all intents and purposes, highly Conservative area.

I thought Lieberman sold his soul to the devil when he ran as Gore’s VP. But somehow he’s regained it. Amazing.

Really interesting study on how Gore vs Lieberman handled the 2000 defeat. Gore got fat and went nuts. Joe L went back to work. I’d bet Lieberman was embarrassed by his association with Gore and his caving to his 2000 campaign handlers.
